I have made a couple that work great, they are basically knockoffs of Bill Dance's. Get you some 1 in. pvc pipe, some connectors, a chunk of concrete block and some heavy duty plastic wire ties. You can load it in your boat unassembled, go to where you want to drop it, assemble it there, and splashdown. However, if this is a public lake, make sure it is legal in your state to put out brush piles.

Buy an extra or two dozen and put them on here.... they will get snapped up like candy!!!! ;D ;D

You would think they would get the hint we do not mess around with countries like them. However, we would be stretched very thin to open a Third military front right now, and they know it. That said, I still put my money on the boys and girls from the good ole USA!

We quit buying our groceries at Walmart and our grocery bill dropped about 20.00 a week. We do get our prescriptions filled there, $4 is hard to beat when you dont have health insurance. I do get a lot of my terminal tackle there, as it is close to the house and usually on the way fishing, and the prices for that is about the same everywhere. However, if you watched Ted Koppel's special on China tonight and for the next 3 nights. Companies like Walmart are the reason China's economy is booming and they are now buying cars (Chevy sells more cars in China than in USA)and GASOLINE at a record pace. So I guess we can blame Walmart for the high gas prices as well!! :-?

I splice mine with a uni knot.. I use between 15-20 ft. of leader, so I can take a few wraps on my reel with it. No, it does not affect casting.

Never mind me, I am just watching the show.

Red, For me it is a 7' mh fast action spinning rod. Something with backbone, and length to help set the hook on longer casts.

I am a convert to Suffix Performance Braid.

Sensitivity maybe, but I am a braid convert. Flourocarbon has its place, but I have spooled all my plastics reels with braid. If I feel the fish are seeing the line, I just add a flouro leader.

I love Carolina Keepers!!! No more swivels, or messing with leader material, and I use 1/2 oz. weights with mine, and it never moves, unless I want it to....

If you already have braid spooled, instead of respooling, just add a 15-20 foot flouro leader, spliced to your braid. I imagine it is either due to gin clear water or rocks, that he is suggesting this.
