  1. LOL, when I type that I have an idea in my head how it sounds.... Kinda like a chubby, out of breath kid saying it between gasps LOL
  2. I vote that we give the extra money to you for doing a lot of this leg work or to Glenn for the pavillion rental. Or......pad the tip like you suggested b/c I am sure southern hospitality will be at its finest at Guntersville. Either way...... VIVA LA GUNTERSVILLE!!!
  3. The guys on here who throw them all the time would tell you its dumb to NOT throw them. Your bass easily have the capability of eating 6" and larger baitfish, so yes, they will work. This is funny b/c two months ago, I thought the same exact way. After having it explained to me by those who know what they are talking about, it definitely makes more sense now. Like Branuss said, be prepared to go without sometimes....
  4. Cajun Red Line is translucent so the light is able to pass through it. Daiichi Bleeding Bait hooks are not translucent so the light refracts and causes it to be visible. JT Bagwell Spoken like someone without any knowledge of physics. Colors that you see are the colors that are refracted back. All other colors of the spectrum are absorbed. Hence red is RED. Now he invisible part. Water is a different medium than air therefore light behaves different. The stuff in the water is absorbing wavelenghts too. Visible Light Deminishes. The longer wavelelengths in the red spectrum are absorbed more rapidly. Hence RED Disappears. RED HOOKS Catch fisherman. ;D Fish see Red hooks and Red line About the same. Red does a disappearing act in the water. Has nothing to do with "They Bite Red Better" but you will beleive the Marketing. Wow, spoken like someone..... Forget it, not even worth it.... *edit* Chatterbait, if you feel that something gives you an added edge, then it is benefitting you in some way, shape or form. Confidence is a big part of this game.
  5. Maybe he weighs more than a sack of feathers Welcome aboard. I feel ya on the stability thing, but honestly once you get out in it I am pretty sure you will get some "sea legs" and you will be just fine.
  6. LOL, thats what I like to see. Famous swimbait maker talking about throwing a buzzbait. I LOVE IT!!!!! I only catch little bass, but from what I have seen on here swimbaits gotta be the one.
  7. http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/outdoors/tenday/USAL0255?from=36hr_topnav_outdoors LOL, PA WEATHER CAN KISS MY ARSE NEXT WEEK!!!!!

  11. I already have it laid out to be packed Ronnie, regarding your BPS request.... NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!!!! I went in there for a couple things and didnt see them anywhere. Surprise, surprise....the guy working the department didnt find them either. Sorry man...
  12. In your situation, without seeing what you are doing wrong (if any), you cant beat practice casting at targets both on and off the water. Keep at it and you will get better. Period. Wayne
  13. Got a link? Never heard of it.... *EDIT* http://www.themangler.com/ Looks like its geared toward musky guys? Not sure though...
  14. Just noticed that myself. I never will understand deleting your entire profile. I know, as Russ has stated, its like a big middle finger to the site....but come on... Isnt it just easier to take a deep breath, walk away for a little bit and then come back?
  15. I cant view it either....Davis, PM Sent.

  18. Dude, sexy? What, are you Paris Hilton? LOL Just messing with you... I remember that thing, it was pretty sweet looking...
  19. I think it is up to the person reading the post to determine whether or not the information they are seeing is worthwhile. Just like you looking to see how long someone has been a registered member, I am sure other people evaluate member credentials a thousand different ways. The only thing that a lot of posting will get for you is to let people know about your personality. Other than that, post count really doesnt mean all that much in the grand scheme of things. JMPO, Wayne
  20. Mike, like some of the other guys said...I wouldnt worry about forgetting something b/c chances are someone down there will have an extra or 10 I will be going to meet Muddy today after I get off work to make the pick up. I know what's for dinner tonight
  21. Ya definitely got the sick part right....I felt like I was gonna die. LOL I will be meeting Muddy tomorrow somewhere north of Harrisburg. I obviously cant give away the exact location as then "the boys" would have to be called in to keep people quiet Anyway, I am so pumped up for this trip that I cant even put it into words....
  22. I am pretty sure that is how Alpster explained it to me.
  23. Well, that may explain some of your problems there buddy : Nothing wrong w/ putting the fishing banners beside the beer and women....show off the things that make ya happy LOL
  24. If you are looking for a show, why dont you make the trip to Guntersville. I am sure you could get enough footage down there to make quite an episode.... I know I would watch it
