I have come to the conclusion that the English language is dead.

It's going to depend on how high you are and how close the animal is, defining the angle at which you are shooting. I don't think it matters as much for actually patterning the shotgun. As long as you know where it's hitting, you can adjust your shot accordingly when it counts.

Very cool. I gotta say I'm a fan of the reel handle I have on my Lexa 300HL. I've only upgraded that one reel but it sees the most action of any reel I own. I just ordered another Lexa so hoping to purchase another in the near future.

If you have a specific technique in mind, only equip yourself with those particular baits and FORCE yourself to fish them. It's tough fishing for a couple hours and not catching anything and it's really easy to pick up something you are comfortable with in order to catch a few fish to break the monotony. Or you could just keep fishing plastic baits and getting bit. It's not a problem to be a one trick pony if that one trick is REALLY good.
