Look, I dont know why guys get upset when someone says a pic doesn't look as big as someone claims. That's not 7lbs. It's 5 on an AMAZING day. You are correct, I wasnt there. I have weighed my fair share of big fish though and, like someone said, unless Jay is a very, very large young man then the fish doesn't look as big as claimed. No one called anyone's mom a name, no one is bleeding. I simply stated that the young man's scales may be a weeeeeeeeeee bit off. As suggested, I checked my glasses and it still doesn't look 7. I echo the shotgun suggestions, especially if she does not intend to carry outside the home. If she is stuck on the handgun idea......practice, practice, practice. I also like lasers, so long as they are not a replacement for proper technique or knowing how to properly handle a weapon. Defense situations are tense and aiming is tough when your adrenaline is pumping. It's tough to simulate that in a practice setting, even for a LEO. Lasers take some of the guess work out of it but, I stress, they are not a replacement for proper practice and range time.

Absolutely legit. Don O is about as OG as you can get with swimbaits. If you dont know what the HBC is, look it up. He won the first one over the best big bait specialists in the USA. Not a single worry about ordering from him. He is always willing to help out too.

I can actually say they are entertaining to watch. That takes alot for me to say. LOL I do wish Richard Sherman would be quiet though. Fun to watch, horrible to listen to.

My buddy cancelled on me. Texted me SATURDAY NIGHT. Glad I remembered to turn the alarm clock off. LOL I stayed around here and caught a few on the swimbait, nothing to write home about.

Any lake is dangerous Sam. I can recall crossing Kentucky Lake a few years ago at the mouth of Blood River. S to N wind blowing right up the lake. I wouldnt want to venture a guess as to the size of the waves but it takes a lot to freak me out and I was freaking out. They might just have to allow time to safely get back or they can chance it. Play ball!
