Stacy, I'd like to echo what Sam said. I've been through spine surgery six times, and I can't stress enough how important it is to do what the Doctors say. Don't be in too much of a hurry to do things. It is so important to let the body heal, because if you un-do what the Doctors fix the next surgery could be much worse. Here on St. Clair I have alot of success with size 7 Shad Raps, in silver/blue, shad, purpledecent, and I also have a special Hot Pink that works. Rattlin Rapalas also work in silver/blue, and shad. The DT series also work in blue shad, and parrot. Falcon

You can try the Titanium leaders. They're expensive, but they don't kink-up. Falcon

I've only had marginal success with the chatterbait type baits. I will say this, every fish I caught on these baits really slammed it. Falcon
