  1. Not made anymore, but I have a good supply of Mr Twister 6" slither worms. Grape first, then black.
  2. http://stores.ebay.com/Spinnerbait-City/willow-/_i.html?rt=nc&_fsub=8078169&_sid=2343293&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1581&_pgn=1
  3. I'm not a big fan of this technique either. Any slime that is lost to a rough boat carpet is a chance for infection. Not to mention the flopping around on a hard surface. I believe a wet (preferably rubber) net is the safest for the fish.....IMHO.
  4. I'll let you know tomorrow.
  5. Reload, shoot, repeat.
  6. Texas has talent!
  7. Whopper Stopper Dirty Bird
  8. With me it's more the colors that aren't available. Twister 4" lizards......grape red flake, smoke red flake, electric grape Twister Slither worms...Black, Grape, Smoke, Motor oil Yakima Bait Hawg Boss Super Toad....Chrome Perch Rebel Jointed Minnow, J20, J30.....Natural Perch, Baby Bass, Rainbow And of course, Uncle Josh Spring Lizard, #11 frog, twin tails.....in chartreuse.
  9. Caught my first bass out of a pond behind our house in Middletown, RI in 1954.
  10. Probably 40 commercial, and 20 in an open door Huey slick.
  11. Black on black.....black and chartreuse when I'm feeling a little crazy.
  12. 99% of soft plastics I'll use Mister Twister Keeper hooks. The only alteration I do on some is to replace the barb with an Owner Centering Pin spring. Wacky rigged stickbaits...Owner Wacky Hooks Cranks.......VMC trebles
  13. I would argue that it is you who got hooked.
  14. Bright day...bright bait. Dark day...dark bait.
  15. You can buy Owner twist lock centering pin springs in packages of 8 for a little over $3 and put them on your hook of choice.
  16. I just opened my last 100 pack. Love the smell.
  17. I was pre fishing a money tournament a number of years ago and caught a 4 lb 8 oz smallie off a bed in a pad field in 4 FOW. Went back the following weekend and caught her again. Went there first thing tournament morning (following weekend) and she was still there but I couldn't get her to take anything. I returned 3 or 4 times during the day and nada. That fish would have been big fish for the tournament and put $500 in my pocket.
  18. I don't mind losing Senkos on bass but I lose most of mine on perch and googleyes. I have switched over to Twister Comidas. I still lose just as many but I catch just as many bass and for half the price.
  19. The two stores are only 19 miles apart south of Seattle. I wonder if one has to go.
  20. Best bait I have ever used to catch perch? Perch. After you catch a couple on worms or whatever, fillet the last 3" off the tale. Leave the skin on and hook right thru meat and skin. You might have to use a swivel and leader to prevent line twist.
  21. Fishing Lake Roosevelt few years back. Three A-6's flew over at tree top. Needed a change of underwear shortly after.
  22. Yup, me too.....3/8 oz Black Gary Klein Weapon w/ black #11 frog. And I see nothing wrong with that. I believe that's why we're all here.
