  1. Spend as little as you can on fishing tackle... and then cut that budget in half
  2. Dude that is just a cool freaking video. I'm still laughing ;D
  3. I've tried Spider Wire, Power Pro, Stren, and P-line. P-line was my favorite. Went fishing with Brokeju and I was convinced to try Suffix. I did. Went back to P-line.
  4. Now you should have been a good guide and handed the rod off to your client Just kidding. Nice fish!
  5. Thanks for sharing. Not big but they sure beat a skunk. That is a nice looking pond. I wish things where that green out here :'(
  6. Sweet fish!
  7. Dude, come on. You know that when a fish that big eats a jig, it eats it! You caught that thing on a night crawler while catfishing. Then stuck one of your home made jigs in the corner of it's mouth for the pic. Which is fine with me, I'm just jealous as a SOB. Good job bro! Oh, and who showed you to use Sweet Beavers for trailers?
  8. They are a great everything lure.
  9. Being that something's worth is subjective I don't disagree with your disagreement. Wait :-? ;D Here are a list (not that anyone asked but hey, why not) of Megabass baits that I own and they catch fish, but I think were not worth the price. Deep X 200T SR-X Cyclone Cyclone MD-X Vision 95 Vib X-Smatra V-Bullet Shad (Pretty much all of these are "bass baits") Now Megabass baits that are worth every penny. Prop Darter 110 Vision 110 Live-X Margay Stepcat Lip Less Bait Pop-X Pop-Max Just my stinky opinion.
  10. Not everything Megabass makes is worth the money but the Vision 110, like the one in T-rig's pic, is for sure. To answer the original question, I think is has been two years now.
  11. And to think, all these years I've been replacing my Hudds when they turn all white ;D
  12. I would say yes... to an extent. If I were you, I would go with a heavier jig with a sharper head design. Like a proline flipping jig. 1/2oz+. Or use a 3/8oz and swim it along the edge of the grass. Proline Flipping Jig
  13. Did you really have to bring that up? ;D I have been kicking myself at least once a month over that!!!!
  14. You can use it now but if I were you I would hold off untill all that grass dies in the winter and then pull that rig back out. Your setup sounds fine.
  15. Wow Catt. I like that (Even though the jig setup I posted on the other thread cost over $500). Someone should go post that that on Tackle Tour ;D
  16. MBH 705C Rogue (The older one with fuji components) Abu Morrem Forrell 3600 15lb Cuda Proline flipping 3/8oz with a Zoom twin tail grub. Skinny Bear Elite 3/8oz with a smallie beaver. Proline or Skinny Bear 1oz football with a sweet beaver. 24/7-365
  17. Very nice!
  18. To top it off they were part of a church group. What I hate about that story was how the media out here reported it like the kid died on the ride. Making 6 flags look bad.
  19. It seems like a pretty neat gun. The guy is an engineer that I ran into at a trade show a few years ago in Atlanta. Just ran into him again in Anahiem, Ca and he told me about this project he had been working on. The gun is not for sale yet and he was just throwing $350 out there to get input from people. Considering what it is, I would say that $350 is cheap. But living in Southern California, I don't have many places to use a fully automatic pellet/BB gun. You can't compare it to airsoft or paintball because it isn't an airsoft or a paintball gun. Totally different market. We are talking .22 pellets and BB's, not paint or plastic. Unless my math is wrong your gun cost $169 more. That is 45% more than the price you are basing this on. I would say 45% is more than a little bit.
  20. Same baits and patterns that I use during the day. If I had to pick a fav it would be this guy. Full size.
  21. Very cool. People rip on him for over playing his sponsers on a show that they wouldn't be seeing if it wasn't for his sponsers. Hell, you can't even go to see a movie that you have to pay $12 for with out sitting though countless plugs for computer, clothing, and automobile companies. Heck, there are even sponser ads all over my screen as I am typing this. Anyhow, that is cool that you got a chance to go out there. I'm jealous.
  22. Looking good
  23. That's pretty funny. Just teens being teens. Would I do it? No. Should they get in trouble? yeah. Jail? no.
