  1. Way to stick em Jay! It's cool, you don't have to be all secritive about what 8" bait you caught them on. We all know it was a Bass Harasser ;D
  2. Nice! My partner and I ended up 62nd out of 86 teams.
  3. X2!!! I can't get touched on the jr. but the full size in the Pumpkinseed pattern is my #1 producing topwater.
  4. I have the BCR852 GLX and it has handled everything I've thrown with it. Shakey, tubes, t-rigs, shallow to deep cranks, spoons, ice jigs, light jigs, spinnerbaits, spooks, senko, you name it. I've just never thrown heavy jigs, swimbaits, or C-rigs on it but it would be ridiculous for me to think that it would handle those. Your rod is seven inches shorter but I am sure you will have similar results.
  5. ;D ;D ;D That's funny. They do have his name in other places on the website and his name is correct.
  6. Those look like Bass Harassers with more of a boot tail. But definatly not a Hud.
  7. He was using 4lb because the water was crystal clear at that lake last November and December. Fish we keying in on shad and the were coming up from 20ft to hit small shad type baits. They were fighting hard there that time of year. Hey must have had a great partner to get it in the net that quick!
  8. Yeah I just needed to rant, It's just that G-10 isn't a circuit board until it is made into one. Thanks guys
  9. Nice fish. The chatterbait was over rated the same way that Basstrix and the Sexy shad are. Good baits but they were hard to get a hold of at first so people would pay 5-10 times retail for the baits on ebay. Thus, people thought they must be the greatest thing ever if some one was willing to pay that much for them. Personally, I like to crimp a weight on the hook and slow roll them.
  10. P-Line Braid (The only line I like from that company)
  11. Why does everyone call it circuit board? Aren't you just using G-10 or FR-4? Sure, it sounds cool because it can be used to make circuit boards, but it's not a circut board until it has all the components of a circuit board. You guys wouldn't carve a bait out of Maple and say, "this bait is made of Louisville Slugger." Not trying to knock anyone but its been bugging me for a couple of years now and I had to get it off my chest. Thanks
  12. Good start! Just make sure you aren't breathing any of those fumes!
  13. Glad to hear it. Thanks for sharing!
  14. I have never used the baby sunfish but if it casts anything like the baby crappie, you will be hating life. I have one of the baby crappies and it just glides off any direction it choses when casting. Plus the action leaves much to be desired. If you aren't going to spend the money on one of Matt's baits I would go with this one. http://www.316lurecompany.com/baits/bluegill.html What hardware are you talking about? Every mission fish I've bought came complete.
  15. Deps Buzzjet.
  16. I disagree. Aluminum lasts a long time but I don't like how they transfer the heat of the plastic. Plus you are limited in the contours of the baits unless you are using a two piece or the guy/gal making your molds is using a 5-axis mill. You can get more shape out of your baits with RTV molds. Hard Resin are fine but you better not drop them.
  17. Just last month I had an Osprey grab my ABT Titan that was running over a foot deep in muddy water. I didn't think he would be able to see it but he got it! Also had one going towards my Lunker Punker one day but he stopped about 3ft away from it. A few years ago when I was in Florida I had a small gator pop up out of nowhere and clamped onto a spittin' image. He was on the line for about 30 secs or so and then he just let go. Also caught a big soft shell turtle on a live blue gill. Had a turn dive and grab my Slug-o one time as well. Coolest thing though is that I was in the back yard practicing my casting one day when a Falcon dove down out of nowhere and grabbed the hookless spoon I was tossing. And I can't forget the time I stuck myself in the back of the head with a rattle trap at Lake Mohave. That was fun
  18. Nothing like a little Swedish metal to get you in the big bait chucking mood
  19. Infidel. replied to T-rig's topic in Fishing Reports
Nice T-Rig. That is three more fish than I caught this week
  20. I don't know what I like more, the bait or the music
  21. Welcome aboard. Nice fish. BTW, Fishizzle, this may have been addressed already but every time I see your name I think it is Fourbizzle. ;D
  22. I'd say you got a good deal. I really like Poe's cranks.
  23. It's trips like those that make the days you catch them more rewarding. Keep paying your dues and you'll be rewarded soon
  24. Thay also have clear super spooks if you are looking for topwaters.
