  1. That is a great baby bass pattern! I'm going to have to hunt one of those down. Thanks for sharing
  2. I hear ya, Izor XXX is sweet! 90% of my rigs have Cuda on them right now, two have seaguar Inviz-X and one has Diamond Illusion. There are so many good lines out there right now that these polls never come to any kind of conclusion, except that spiderwire sucks. J/K
  3. That is a slick looking bait. I think I need to get an order together over at Ichiban
  4. dsaavedra, the specfic wildeye bait you are talking about absolutely sucks. But the original swimbaits they came out with work just fine. I have caught plenty of bass over the last six years on the 4" version. I don't think that bait wasn't designed to be cast. I know some guys that have really good luck trolling these for striper and I have seen pics of numerous 8-14lb largemouth that they have caught while doing so.
  5. Darn you're lucky. The Bass Pro out here doesn't have them yet and neither does their webiste. In fact the last time I checked, the Spro website doesn't even have them yet.
  6. I've been looking but I haven't been able to find that thing yet. And being that they just came out where have you been catching fish on them in January because I need to move there.
  7. Nice fish man! Way to represent Cali.
  8. My girlfriend would kill me if she found that in my tackle bag ;D
  9. Thanks for your help on this one guys.
  10. I just bought this one on ebay but if you are able to find another source for them I would apreciate it.
  11. Found it homeboy! Its called a Cranking Shad.
  12. Thanks T-rig but it's not that one. I bought it about five years ago and I think it was already our of production at that time. I saw one in an ebay store about a year ago but I didn't like the color. I went back a month later to buy it anyways and it was gone.
  13. Cultiva (owner) used to make a flat sided crankbait that had pretty large eyes. Does anyone remember this bait? Does anyone remember what it is called or have a picture of it? Thanks!
  14. Perfect answer Raul.
  15. That would be a shame.
  16. The Hound Dog sniffs em out and gets em every time!
  17. I got some a couple of years ago and they walked great but they were poor for skipping and I had problems with them taking on water. Plus the black one I had had a very soft body while the white one was a pretty firm. They did catch fish though. I am going to buy some agian because I have been hearing some more positive reviews so I'm thinking they've gotten the bugs worked out.
  18. My most productive things to do when it is windy are 1) Burn a spinnerbait. (Especially a Screaming Eagle) 2) Lipless Crank 3) Deep Crank (3/4oz Fat Free Shad, DD22, Lucky Craft Flat CB D20) 4) Jerk Bait
  19. This is why I love T-rig, he has a Bomber Model A and a Bandit right in there along side his "fancy pants" lures.
  20. I have these and I love em! http://www.***.com/descpage-GGLOV.html They are not water proof but they still keep your hands very warm. I was wearing them the weekend before last when we had rain and temps in the low 40's all weekend. I fished all day both days without any discomfort from cold hands. Of course this may not be enough in colder weather but it works great here.
  21. Thanks for the links
  22. Looks like it was a fun trip!
  23. Nice! Carp are strong fighters and it's not unusual at all for you catch one on a lure. It happens all the time. Carp have no quams about eating live prey. You may want to repost your questions in the other species section. You'll probably get more responses there.
  24. Nice!! What kind of gear do you use for those guys?
  25. Either you have small hands or that is a pretty good sized "dink" Water looks nice and clear there. Way to go on your first fish of the year.
