All of the bling seems to be inside the boat, and what's hanging off the back end. I had the opportunity of riding in one once at Lake Fork. It was a very smooth ride, even at what I considered to be warp speeds. When I win the lottery, I'm going to get me a yeller one. Dang, those are some sweetheart boats.

It's not necessary to have the prop redone at this time. However, with the fishing season coming up, I would have it redone. There's a great shop in Broken Arrow. Performance Propeller, 1505 E. Kenosha. Ph. 918-251-4968.

Mike, the "official" dates for the trip are the 30th through the 5th, but some members are going earlier and/or staying longer. I hope you can join us, if even for a day or two. Mike

Just a reminder, tomorrow is the last day to make reservations for the Road Trip before the cabins are released to the general public.

We could make it a threesome. I'm crabby in the mornings and jolly (after a few beers) in the evenings.

Body builders have muscles. This guy has strength, and a lot of it. I doubt very seriously that he has developed that strength just to show off his muscles. I'm taking bets that he is in a line of business where that strength would be a real asset.

Just a reminder, for those of you looking to share accommodations, be very vocal about it on these forums. It is up to you to arrange travel and sleeping arrangements. If, at the very last moment, someone does not have a bed, then bring me into the picture. I'll see what I can do, but no guarantees. Be prepared to bring your air mattress.

A year or so ago, I was fishing Toledo Bend when the Elites were competing there. That lake is well over 100.000 acres. It was Sunday morning and my buddies and I had been fishing in this one bay for the last several days without seeing any of the pros. I was fishing a point off a small island when a well-known pro of small stature and loud mouth came roaring up. He said, "Mind if I fish here?" Knowing that he was trying to make a living, I said "Sure, help yourself," and began reeling in my line in preparation for departure. Well, apparently, I wasn't reeling in fast enough to suit him, so he cast his lure within two feet of my boat. I kept my mouth shut, but let's just say that little stunt of his ticked me off royally. I no longer have any respect for that little squirt. I left that spot at full RPM, and hoped that he didn't catch a danged thing on that point. Apparently he didn't, because he finished out of the running. Tough. Using proper manners may sometimes catch more fish than the proper lure.

It's a great lake, with the strong potential for a DD bass. My PB was caught there, but it wasn't a DD. Glenn caught his PB there, and it WAS a DD.

Personally, I getting a little tired of this carp.

IT'S TIME TO ACT OR GET OFF THE POT! We have plenty of boat seats available for those of you without boats, so don't let that hold you back.
