  1. ill take your ducket off your hands send it my way ill even pay for the shipping since its just garbage lets see 12 dollars shipping3dollars new tip yep 17 bucks sounds good to me. and 100 rods are low end rods when thats a starting point for someones rod lines
  2. throwing jigs under docks. with the shorter rod you can get a nice under hand flip/pitch
  3. ned rig fished it all spring to no avail ild much rather throw a full size senko rigged any way you can althogh i have not tried wacky rigging a turd
  4. for now its my old mojos ive slowly replaced
  5. right my closest one is well over and hour n a half and then turns out its closer then 20 its only 12
  6. i havnt had this problem with a spro itll cost ya a little more up front but if u have to keep replacing pad crashers then itll be cjeaper in the long run
  7. the 7 6 duckett cranker i purchased this spring is pretty flimsy in the tip not sure if the 7 footer is the same but i dont think ild throw anything else on it. but i really like how it loads as a crank bait rod
  8. dobyns sa 682c but dont be afraid to jump up to the sa683c
  9. i havnt had much luck getting them to float with a wom blower the air just sems to squeeze right back out of them
  10. probably why they arent making them anymore guys werent buying them cause they were lasting so there wasnt a need lol
  11. great read. i liked the fact that this boat has a motor that he talked about in the article on it. im kind of amazed he sold his newer ranger and replaced it with an older one which makes me feel a little better about the age of that jason craft thanks fishnkamp for pointing me in the direction of that article
  12. wondering if anyone knows of any good SP worms or lizards that float.
  13. hmmm i wonder why. there products seem realy nice i have some of there ice fishing plastics and like them now i have some of there bass fishing worms and they seem to be top notch
  14. i actually spoke with the gentleman tonight and he dropped his price down to 600 and swears the motor was just gone through at his local marina and all was a ok so sounds like ill be making a road trip next weekend. if anyone has any idea what this thing may be worth or anything i might want to look for when purchasing an older boat ild highly appreciate it. i have a compression checker so that is one thing that will be checked
  15. so i came across a 1989 jason 18ft bass boat with a trailer and a 150 merc. the motor runs. the guy wants $800 for it. yes i said 8 hundred. its in PA and im in IN so its about 8.5 hours to get out there and another 8.5 to get back home so the trip will take 2 days and a stay in the motel plus gas. im guessing all in all it will be right around $1000 to get there and get home after gas and motel. what do you guys think is it worth it. what are these boats really worth ive never heard of a jason before. also keep in mind ild be going to get the boat with the intent of trying to resell it to make some money since i already have a 2004 bass tracker pro team 175 with a 2008 50 hp merc on the back with power tilt n trim. thats alot of driving and time invested to only make a couple hundred so im hoping to hear that the boat is worth a lot more then what hes asking. really ild love to hear its about a $4000-$4500 boat. pictures of the boat are in the pdf file im tryin to fig out how to get them on here out of the pdf file Book3.pdf
  16. me and the wife just got back from the local wal mart and in the clearance bin i found a pack of trigger x probe worms for $2. they say they float so when i gor them home i dropped one in the fish tank to see how buoyant they really are.... they look farely promising think i can find a spot in my arsenal for this pack (pumpkin green flake) and maybe a few other choice colors. so a trip over to TW i went on here as ive been putting together a small order this week anyways to hit the 50 mark for free shipping. tackle warehouse dont carry trigger x? Does anyone know of another place i can order some of these and find some of the other things ive been looking for ...i know i could order them from Trig x but then ill be paying shipping for maybe 2 or 3 other packs of worms. also any suggestions on colors they offer other then the basics would be great
  17. dental pick. couple dollars at menards for a whole set
  18. not the 734 the 744...according to the guy at dobynsthe 744 isnt really a 4 power but like a 4.5 or 4.75. he said something about its new watever that means its actually there jig rod he claims the rod dont compare to a 734 and that its just different this rod here http://dobynsrods.com/rod/744c-fh/ oh my so many choices and this time of year none of my local shops have a full supply of these things
  19. na i thnk a 5 power is going to be way too much since the heaviest jigs i own are 3/4 ounce and the 744c rates up to 1 ounce.
  20. lol so you like the cork handle and dont want anything else but you want to cover it up with something??? ditch the cork go eva then you wont have any worries
  21. 744 c it is fellas thanks now i just gotta figure out if i want a split or full grip
  22. hello all you dobyns fans. so im getting ready to purchase a new rod for jigs and maybe some carolina rigging. so im considering 3 rods a fury or sierra series 704c which is a 7'0" 1 pc. 10-20lb, 1/4-1 oz, Heavy Fast Action or a champion series 744c jig rod special which is a 7’4″ 1 pc. 10-20lb, 1/4-1oz, Hvy Fast Action not really sure if its really worth the extra coin for the champion series rod for just a jig rod and am hoping someone will have some insight not even sure what ill really gain by going with a higher series rod. i know the reel seats are diff and guides are diff but what about the blanks all the dobyns site says is high modulus blanks and dont really specify. thanks in advance guys i really appreciate the info
  23. i will only suggest exactly what i use and thats dobyns...this year i went through my arsenal and started replaceing the mojos of the past with the new dobyns fury series and i love them great rod for the price and they will back it up for life which is worth alot as well. the mojos are nice but the warranty isnt the greatest but also not the worst either but it hurts the pocket book breaking a rod and having to spend full retail to replace it thats why i changed to the dobyns this year after breeaking a few mojos this spring itll be nice having a replacement rod only cost 50 and not 120 and i dont care what anyone says rods break it just happens
  24. says the person selling rods...ive never found it fun at all buying a new rod to find out i dont like it for its intended purpose
