  1. Something I do when it is winter, and very cold, is just let it sit. I mean I let it sit for a while too. Up to a whole minute at times. Don't move it until you just can't stand to not move it anymore, you'll know the feeling. It has been a very good producer in the winter time, probably my best.
  2. Hey I've heard a version of this, it's that the cement just takes the power from the battery. I pulled this off the web "You may have heard the story that a battery sitting on cement will discharge very quickly, and so it's best to store it on wood. This is no longer true, but once was when battery case materials were actually porous enough to enable discharge through damp cement."
  3. It is also getting used to the reel. Atleast it's like that for me. If I pick up my friends baitcaster which I've never thrown it takes me a while to get used to it, and how it feels in my hands. Maybe thats just me though
  4. ;)hahahhaha. He really thought he could do it! We made a 20 dollar bet between us, but I couldn't take the money. I felt bad, he was pretty messed up for a while.
  5. I don't know! Before I posted it I checked, and it works but for some reason it didn't. Hearing what is said is pretty funny, I wish it would have worked. The only reason I can think of that it didn't work is that I rendered it to mp4 and maybe it doesn't support the audio...Who knows
  6. So my friend Jake made a bet with me that he could eat a whole tablespoon of cinnamon, after seeing these videos on Break.com of girls trying to do it. We filmed him, and put it up. The title is just so it gets more view, and of course for the humour. The other 2 people that tried it were girls.....Anyways, if we make it to the top page, we get $600 bucks. I have had 2 videos on the website before, and have made about $700 off of it. Here is the video, just watch it, it's pretty funny. http://my.break.com/Content/view.aspx?ContentID=381453 Thanks for your help.
  7. Those things are top notch. How much did you pay for them? (if you don't mind me asking) I am really interested in some shallow cranks.
  8. Heres a few questions..... When you want to fish a hump, what is generally a good depth to look for? Also when you are using your graph to find them do you want to fish the top of the hump or the edges?
  9. I'm with RW. I need to put some of this information to the test, and then ask questions. I'm really happy with where this thread is going, and have learned so much already. Can't wait to get fishin.
  10. Yeah it definetly helped. I really just wanted this to be an informative post for everyone, and it is turning out well.
  11. aahahhahahahahahhaa muddy
  12. Well your airbags shouldn't have come out if he rear ended you. I believe airbags deploy only if you hit the front of the car, and if your car is only 1000 dollars I doubt there are side curtain airbags....
  13. This thread is not just for me, I mean finding fish in general. I'm sorry if I made this sound like I was just asking for help, I meant for this to be a place for everyone to chime in on how they like to locate bass. Anyhow, I just got my new bassmaster magazine and in the Refresher for fishing the fall article, Hank Parker says "Don't be too concerned about fishing until you locate the bait". How do you guys do this? Do you use your graphs, see them on top, both? How do you locate them on your graphs? They say to use your graphs and also look for birds. Anyone have anything else?
  14. The reason I made this thread is to find out how I'm not very good at finding them
  15. Sweet thread Muddy, but I think we should have a thread full of information about finding bass and forage..I thought it'd be nice if it had its own seperate thread. ~Matt Strykul
  16. MattStrykul replied to Catt's topic in Fishing Tackle
Up here on Gaston some guys wear full motorcycle helmets ;DThat thing looks nice though, and I can see how it would help. I say go for it
  17. LBH the videos are great, you should make more. I really liked the jig fishing video and it helped me ALOT. Thanks
  18. I don't think he is a guide either, but I may be wrong? I'm about 95% sure he's not.... He's a trophy hunter, and a very very good one at that.
  19. I'll post a pic like LBH did to compare. I'm 5'4 (not that has to do with much) and this fish is 5.2 lbs.....That fish looks like mid 2's.
  20. You my friend, must not know mr. Fish Chris
