  1. I would die to catch a ray
  2. VERY HAPPY!!!!! As some of you know big bass have been scarce for me in recent years. Haven’t broken 6 since 2018. Haven’t broken 5 since May 2020. After losing a new PB on Saturday, and breaking a swimbait. Came back. Got a 5, then a 6.5. On a real prey forage trout. It feels so d**n good!
  3. Broke an expensive swimbait yesterday and lost a PB l. Fish hit at my feet, head shake and spit hook. So I woke up at 430 to head back. Nothing. No bites no signs of fish. Hit another spot on my way home. Got a tiny 12 inch pickerel. story of my life. Lose big fish, break a swimbait and catch pickerel
  4. I got a Florida gar once. I didn’t get a picture tho, I tried grabbing and holding on to take a picture but slipped out of my hand would really love to catch more
  5. Went out bowfin fishing Saturday. Been trying for 4 years to get one, finally did it. Check that off the bucket list! Fished for a couple hours. Got 3 bowfin, bunch of yellow perch and a nice bullhead cat.
  6. Caught a beautiful brown a few days ago. Caught a beautiful sucker yesterday
  7. I love big swimbaits, but I’m either fishing a topwater, a shallow diver or a big soft bait. When it warms up it’s mostly hardbaits, topwaters and shallow divers. Love big wakes. That’s my favorite
  8. A small jerkbait, like an xrap. You can catch crappies, bass, pickerel, pike, trout, saltwater fish,
  9. Got a good one tonight, slow twitching a psycho gill on top. Had another good blow up on a slammer and a toxic wake and crank.
  10. Ouch!!! Had a striper do that once. Wasn’t deep, beers helped gettin it out
  11. Looks like a healthy fish, really choked that
  12. 6 bass this afternoon. They were loving the crank bait but fished like a jerkbait. Twitch pause! Got one on the psycho gill! Nothing big. they were in shallow sunny windy side.
  13. Hit a favorite cold water pond on the kayak, bright skies clear water little worried I wouldn’t get em. Found them fairly quickly. Had a quick flurry of action around high noon. Got 2 on the real prey 3.75 inch chadtail Perch. Also got a bass and a pickerel on a BiCO. All fish were in one area. Nothing big, all around the same size. But they were fat and healthy. I think They were holding on a tree. I fished the rest of the pond didn’t get a sniff, didn’t help the wind started cranking. Hit 2 other ponds didn’t get anything. I tried a blade, psycho gill, jerkbait, hair jig , Matt’s shad, real prey perch, fluke nothing.
  14. Senkos and worms I use a regular worm hook, but I love EWG for flukes, creatures and craws.
  15. Hell ya. Baits awesome!
  16. Just a small portion of my aresnal
  17. I own a ton of swimbaits, mostly Matt’s, slammers , hudds and real preys. Picked up a KGB benson, bullshad, toxic wake and crank, pats, a lancotti psycho gill, and a DS crank over winter!
  18. I love big swimbaits. My biggest was a 13 inch Matt’s dead twitch, I think the biggest now is my 10 inch slammer, got a few big spooks like the rago slob stick, and hardcore hellfire missile. My favorites are the 9 Inch slammer!
  19. Up Here in MA. There’s ponds I can’t fish in the summer. To choked with weeds!
  20. Ya bites off. You can have a great day but gota put in work to find en and get em. Not like the usual, move up and feed heavy
  21. Caught my first psycho gill fish. First spot somebody was already there drowning shiners. Didn’t get anything. I left shortly after. Hit a new pond. Got a small fish up shallow, wind blown cove sunny cove. Tried my favorite night spot. Didn’t get a single bite
  22. Hahaha yep Me2, I just picked up a lancotti psycho swimbait, it’s such an incredible bait. You can walk it glide it crank it wake it, so much versatility!’ I’m very excited to fish the paint off it
  23. Check out Samatis baits! Their crawmatis is a killer bait. Small company from Massachusetts. They look so good on a t-rig, weightless swimming up to, chatterbait, jig trailer, they are awesome
  24. sorry I meant to say, I would make shore line Structure! I always thought bass held close to the bottom in winter. Ever notice how a basement is warm in winter but cooler in summer? That ground water and dirt stays a fairl constant temperature. So that bottom would be warmer then the water even in winter. But 50 degrees is game time bud, fish are hittin and active in them temps
