Definitely this. Steel wheels aren’t so bad but aluminum wheels need checked after 50-100 miles. I neglected once in my old car, luckily I got where I was going but they had loosened up pretty bad!

Got out for a few hours today. Caught a 2 pound male off a bed. I hit him right between the eyes, twice! Then he grabbed it. Caught a few more dinks on a Ned, saw a pig of a female swimming around shallow, that was pretty exciting cause I thought the biggest fish in there was 12”!

Well, that would have certainly added insult to injury! Any idea what gave out?

I’ve been using mine for a couple weeks and haven’t noticed any sharp points or edges? I’m using a left hand reel to so I guess that could be part of the (non)issue?

That’s it, all my baits are either red or green! Seriously though, I think on my next order of jigs I’m going to find one red and one green and give them a shot.

It definitely took some practice, but I’m getting to the point that I don’t really cut myself, at least not until I said that, but the first few times were a mess. It does require some time but I prefer to shave after my shower in the evening, it’s pretty relaxing for me.

I like my Fenwick HMG. It’s a 7’ mh/f. I’ve used it on extreme ends, throwing weightless senkos all the way up to a 1oz swimbait. It’s got good sensitivity and a very comfortable grip.
