How bout ReelMagic reelmech?
Sorry if I misread your :. I thought they were directed at David, apparently you meant them for the name "ReelMagic." Anyway, I bought 4 Citicas last year and they did not come with oil. I don't know if they come with it now or not.

How bout ReelMagic reelmech?
I think reelmech has shown almost superhuman levels of restraint. Rollyeyes should be used sparingly, if at all, especially when one is asking a long term and well-respected member for help. Good luck with your lubricating adventures.

Are the Bass Gone?
If you get a chance, could you bring some back here for me?

Are the Bass Gone?
Sorry. As I said, there is ZERO vegetation Oh, yes. He lives about 1/4 mile from the house in which I was raised. My parents still live there, so I drive by his bait shop several times a week.

Are the Bass Gone?
I live in southern IN and I sometimes fish an old quarry/gravel plant that is around 20 acres in size. It is approximately a long oval and has mostly bluff banks with plenty of wood cover but NO vegetation. The bottom is clay and/or sand with chunks of the quarry stone sparsely scattered about. The water is very muddy. The lake is connected to the White River by a small channel around 1-3 feet deep, 6-10 feet wide and about 20 yards long. I catch some pretty nice bass here in the spring and fall, but it gets really tough in the heat of summer as the water approaches and surpasses 80 degrees. I have tried fishing deep and shallow, slow and fast. I use jigs, deep and shallow cranks, t-rigs, c-rigs, shaky head, Chatterbait, spinnerbait, topwaters, etc. In short, the whole tackle box at all depths, sizes and speeds. My question is this - As the water warms up, are the bass moving back out into the current? Is that why they're so elusive?

Spoiling for a fight
As long as it doesn't go ad hominem and there is no profanity pretty much everything else is perfectly acceptable.

Different types of vegitation.....approach
In general, greener, larger leaves and densest growth = more O2

Strike King Zero Trick
I discovered something by accident. I was showing a friend how elastic these baits were and pulled one as far as it would go. This caused the bait to float. As you may know, these baits tend to float after they have been used for a while and pulling them causes the same effect. If you have a new one you can use this trick to create a larger profile salted bait for shaky heads or C-rigs or even use it as a floating worm.

2 piece molds
I haven't done it myself, but I suspect that you could pour one side and let it set up and then lubricate the other side of the baits and the resin and pour the other half.

CUSTOM ROD QUESTION
Obviously, we're just arguing semantics here. I have no problem with anyone calling their creation "custom." I'm just glad to see Muddy causing so much controversy on here. No more Mr. Nice Guy!

flat cranks and jerk bait
Beautiful baits. I think you meant to say higher than that. Colder water = more buoyant.

favorite drop shot rod?
I have a St. Croix Avid AS69MLXF that I really like for drop shotting. They have this same rod in the Legend Tournament series if you're looking for something better.

huge crank bait
I found two bass like that about two weeks ago. The larger one was about 2 lbs and the smaller one was 1 1/4. I separated them and the little one didn't make it, but the larger swam slowly away.

CUSTOM ROD QUESTION
I always thought of custom as meaning something that was different from mass produced or changing a mass produced object in some way. I looked it up, however, and it appears you are right, Muddy. Custom means made to order or made especially for an individual customer. You learn something new every day!

buzzbait not running straight
Does anyone know how to fix a Terminator that runs on its side?

huge crank bait
not too big for the bass I'm fishing for

new rod suggestions...
I concur. I have this rod and use it for drop shot, shaky head, tubes and grubs mostly, but I have used it for Senkos and T-rigs and it's great for that too.

Please read the price!
It's kids like the OP that really give me hope for the future. When all the "Boomers" retire, there will be such a shortage of quality employees in this country that I'm bound to stumble into success. Keep thinking like this and encourage all your friends to do the same. I can't wait for the windfall that awaits those of us who have a good work ethic and communication skills. Rock on, Dude!

Line size
20+ for buzzbait 6-17 for soft plastic depending on bait, presentation and cover conditions 10-17 for cranks depending on crank depth and cover conditions. I use 10 for deep divers and 14-17 for shallow.

Personal opinion on tying onto crank bait...
Norman Speed Clip.

Doctoring Poppers
Sure it will work. I have tied a small crappie jig to the rear hook of a Pop-R and had some success.

Crank color?
Chartreuse or red craw.
