  1. The reels are good, but a Steez 100H or even the Zillion HLC will kick it's butt...... Just like Bruce Lee kicked Chuck Norris' butt. ;D
  2. It's pretty major, and I'm confident all go well. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers gang.
  3. And fails to tell her there is a hidden camera in the car. This video never fails to crack me up. ;D
  4. Wow. I hate to hear about storeis like this, it seems most of them could be avoided by simply slowing down and having time to react.
  5. My prayers are with you pal.
  6. Very nice pal. Cant wait to see one in person!
  7. Haven't seen them and I think it's funny that most here say the same thing.

  9. The rod I'm using is the new for '08 STZ741XHFBA. It's 7'4", rated from 1/2 oz up to 2 oz. They call it a swimbait stick, I say no way. Unless of course they're talking about smaller swimbaits, this rod makes a ridiculously light frog stick. It works well with the 100H Steez, I just got the rod and am waiting for my JDM Zillion HLC arrival to pair with it instead. The 100H works well, the HLC, with it's superior distance casting abilities, will be spot on. They also make a Zillion version of this rod for half the price of the Steez. Fantastic value and the weight difference is negligable.
  10. Steez Swimbait rod is THE best frog stick out there. Period. Paired with a Steez 100 and 65 lb Sufix braid and your done.
  11. I am sorry for your loss my friend, I will keep you and your friend in my prayers.
  12. Yeah, it was a poor attempt at sarcasm. I re-read it and said "this doesn't make sense." Here I'll try this, Yo-zuri is really great line. I caught a 30lb Flathead with 10lb test. I was really surprised that it only had some nicks in it and was able to land the large fish. I recommend yo-zuri line for a lot of applications and, based on this experience I can say that yo-zuri will probably exceed your expectations as well. I don't use Yo-Zuri line, but I now understand what you are trying to say.
  13. Just started using it now, seems pretty good so far. ask me in a few days.
  14. Congratulations! El Grande seems to know his stuff down there too.
  15. Using the reels mentioned just won't work. Pixy, Presso, or Alphas Ito would be your best bet. You also need a rod with a light enough tip to throw those lures, so consider that as well.
  16. There's lots of fishing holes, but not many that have skeletal remains of any prehistoric animals. I'd get the University involved and see if you couldn't get a dig scheduled to see what else is there. You may have stumbled on something much more important, like a nesting area for these animals or better yet, there may be bones and artifacts of neolithic man. Now that would be significant!
  17. Hey Muddy, they found your dentures!
  18. Brian, Here's some California love for the mojo!
  19. Glenn, Cool pics buddy. Great story too, nice to know that he is human, just like the rest of us.
  20. Hey Guys, I've been crazy busy with work and have not had time to post much. You'll be getting some neat stories soon though, promise. Thanks for caring!
