Got a Swimbait Rod Today
Congratulations on the new rod. Doesnt matter if you spend $25 or $250 on a rod, if it gets the job done then it serves its purpose. Now go stick a hog with it.

"After" pictures finally here.
This setup will get plenty of scratches and nicks. That's not a problem.

"After" pictures finally here.
Been busy with work so I've not been able to post any pictures of the upgraded JDM Daiwa BBS. Needless to say I am very pleased with the results. Here is how the reel started out life. Nice, but pretty basic. And this is what it looks like now. Anodized the tension knob, Steez drag star and crank collar, replaced the crank with a JDM Steez carbon 90mm arm, replaced the black grips with clear coated cork, added 4 bearings in the grips, replaced all the bearings with upgraded units, and put it on my new Megabass White Python.

Rod for Daiwa Pixy
An exotic reel like that requires an equally exotic rod. If you are up to the challenge, I would suggest this rod from Evergreen. You can get it at http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22_80_622_625&products_id=3318. http://www.evergreen-fishing.com/bass_rod/temujin_crossfire/html/txfc_66l.html

Senko Rod questions
If you have an 844C try something different. The best Senko rod on the market in my opinion is the GLoomis BCR 893 GLX. I have this rod rigged with a Daiwa Steez 103H modded with a 90mm carbon crank and cork grips supported with 4 handle bearings. It is without a doubt one of my favorite combo's to use. http://products.gloomis.com/gl/products/alltackle/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441768917&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302032712&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181201&bmUID=1216861478006

Redline Robert buys a Rolls Royce?
He made some very smart business decisions early in life. One of them paid off huge, so now, at the age of 40, he's done. The cool thing is that the money didn't change him as a person either.

Redline Robert buys a Rolls Royce?
That was fun, huh Glenn? I brought Glenn along with me to visit a friend that lives in Las Vegas. This buddy also happens to be Wayne Newton's neighbor. Great guy, has more cars than anyone I know and recently sold his business. Let's just say he now lives comfortably. He gave me the keys ot his Phantom and let me have it for the day. Eric is a very generous pal. Glenn, why don't you show a couple pictures of the shack he live in?

STEEZ SPINNING ROD QUESTION
True - but a boat gives you access that not having one does not.

Cool sequence of photos taken by my pal.
So I went fishing to "Lake X" with my buddy Cal from Tackle Tour. He happened to have his camera out while this unfolded. Bass approach. The wake coming from the left is actually the bass coming after my lure. The rise. The fall. The ownage. ;D The victory.
