Just got this in the mail, and am very impressed with Arne's work. Through a little investigating, I found out who makes the in house leather goods for Abel. Arne is also going to make me an 8' long 6" diameter rod tube for my rods to use when I travel. Now I just need to find an 8' long cow so there is no seam in the leather. ;D If you need any leather work, Arne is fantastic. www.arnemason.com

In one way or another, aren't they all gimicks? I mean, look at a spinner bait, it looks like nothing in real nature, a Senko, originally modeled after a pencil, or a buzzbait. The list goes on and on.....

Definitely one of my favorites. This rod is just amazing. I have to hand it to Megabass, they make a pretty incredible rod.

Big fish went 9.5 lbs. That's a swan's nest.

And what a day it was. Got there a little late, was greeted to this site at the first pond. It only got better from there. Had an epic day, 50+ fish, all of which came on the Horny Toad. They were just mashing that thing. This was the average size of the fish caught. And this was the fish that made my day.

Nice fish! Nothing compares to fishing a farm pond.

Loaded question. I typically have no fewer than 6 on deck in addition to the rod I am using. I don't like changing lures unless I absolutely have to. Cuts out down time completely. Sometimes I may even have two rods rigged with the same lure, incase one gets snagged or lost.

Thats why I hate fishing in high wind as well as the Delta on crowded weekends. Nothing concerns me more when I'm out there, especially fishing alone. Be careful out there!

Lucky Craft 1.5 on the Delta, no doubt. I like using the Rick Clunn Purple Shad 1.5, and the Lucky Craft Fat CB in Mad Craw. If you need any more help fishing the delta pm me.

Last time I checked, bass are not on the endangered species list. So you killed a bass. I'm sure there are plenty more there. Some lakes actually need harvesting to help the rest of the population grow.

Think of the Zillion HLC as an alternative to the Steez 100H. I prefer the beefiness of the HLC, and the fact that it comes with the carbon handle. the purple accents are beautiful too.

Wow is all I can say. This thing casts like a dream, is buttery smooth, and works really well with the Shihru crankbait rod. I have it spooled with 12 lb P-Line Flouro. I may have to pick up the 200DC as well.
