Hadn't taken Jesse out fishing in years. I think the last time we went he was still in grammer school. We had the most incredible day. He was up and running in no time, we managed to get close to 40 in the boat, as well as Jesse's personal best. It was one of those days that years from now I will look back on and smile about. Jesse's first bass in probably 10 years. The old uncle showing him how it's done. ;D Nice 6 lb fish. So then the *** kicking commences. I see Jesse's rod do some bendo, nothing major, I'm thinking "Another decent fish". Then I see the splash, and this swamp donkey comes in.... Fallen soldiers from the day.

Oh man that looks excellent! If you'd like to use baitcasting gear then a Calcutta 400 should be ideal, paired with a GLoomis Muskie rod. Rods only come in one piece from what I see though....
