  1. i just picked up a fenwick hmg for $100. i purchased the 7'2" medium moderate fast, hands down best cranking stick ive ever used. i mainly throw baby manns 1 minus, and rattle traps but it does toss a 1.5 well
  2. tough to beat a lipless crank bite
  3. Looking to upgrade a few casting reels. Can anyone tell me the differences aside from color and price? Also I had a few lexas but dislike the mag control knob on the side, I've had the dial move while palming the reel. I've read that this is a non issue in most other daiwa casting reels
  4. Dobyns furys are nice and they pretty much have a rod for anything you want to do in the bass fishing world
  5. The daiwa revros is hard to beat for $50. I never cared for the presidents
  6. I have had this problem as well using various different 10lb braids as well. I would cinch the Knot down and th e line would break 1/2" above the knot. I was using an Albright and Alberto. Still to this day don't know why. I have never had a problem with braid 20lbs and up

  11. Depends what and where I'm fishing. Could be a Ml spinning or a Medium heavy casting rod
  12. I dont know why, but i never do well during the morning. Most of my big fish have came mid- late afternoon.

  14. i been using picasso spinnerbaits the last two years and i highly recommend them.
  15. Duckett ghosts are great, but the guides are horrible. Love the blank they use, wish it had better guides
  16. gamakatsu round ball head jig is my favorite
  17. red craw, especially early in the season
  18. lucky craft pointer ned rig
  19. original floating rapala, phoebe spoon
  20. i fish 1/8 the most but i mainly fish shallow ponds and lakes. 6' or less. i also use various other sizes depending on cover and how i'm fishing.
