  3. Highly recommend the daiwa tatula ct or a daiwa fuego ct. The fuego ct is basically the same reel as the tatula ct without the tws levelwind system.
  4. Picked up two of the new daiwa fuego CT's last week. These reels are basically the same reel as a tatula ct without the TWS system and they are $30 cheaper. Love the matte black finish as well. Good reel for $99
  5. I use a Fenwick hmg medium moderate fast 7'2" for all of my shallow cranking needs.

  9. Put thumb on spool and pull straight back Spinning reel palm the spool and pull straight back. I don't use fluoro for anything but had a friend who used it and it kept breaking in random spots
  10. Been using xl since the beginning, have no reason change.
  11. I have bought about a 10 rods from tackle warehouse and never had an issue.
  12. Throwing spooks in mid to upper 40 degree water and catching 5- 6lbers
  13. Mono is way underrated
  14. I have tried both and really cant say I've seen a difference. If im worried about abrasion resistance around rock I would just fish straight mono or fluoro
  15. Make sure the spool is sitting properly on the shaft before tightening the drag knob
  16. they cast better than the bill lewis and they flat out catch fish
  17. I held a spinning model and was not impressed.
  18. never had an issue with xl or stren original.
