Trilene Maxx
Thanks guys, I might spool a reel up with it and give it a shot, it couldn't have more memory than that P-line CXX. Oh and for spinning reels, man I cannot say enough good stuff about the Trilene 100% Fluoro. I am using 8lb on my spinning reels and it is awesome. I don't know, though leaving my P-Line maybe too hard though.

Trilene Maxx
Has anyone tried Trilene Maxx? I am looking for a new line to try out with some traps and spinnerbaits. Currently I am using P-Line CXX, which is great but I am using P-Line CX for my cranks and like the thinness of 12lb, but want something stronger, anyone have any experience with it?

Affordable rods, spinning and baitcasters..what are some of the good ones??
I have a bunch of Allstar classic series rods from Academy. Good rod for around 50 bucks. I also have the spinning rod in it, put fluorocarbon on it and you can feel real good with it. I also have a fenwick that I got free with a Revo that I bought at the Classic and I love it. I have to second Tin on the Promax I got one from *** and love it.

Who makes the best crankbaits? What's your favorite?
BUY THEM- I have a fair number of Bagley's. I caught my personal best on a Bagley Deep Killer Bee in a Tennessee shad pattern that was over 20 years old. The only problem with the new Bagley's is on the lip there is a lead weight right under the line tie. This thing will flip the crankbait around dutring the cast and "cross its legs" occasionally. I just file it down or bite it off with side biters and start crankin. I will get off of my Bagley soap box now, but man those things can catch some fish. By the way they have great customer service if you call their main number also. Here is a link to their site www.bagleybait.com/

Buying me and my dads first bass boat
I just bought a Tr 186. I love my Triton, however there are alot of boats around that will fit into that price range. I looked at the Nitro's also. I was impressed by their size and features for the money. I love my Triton though (did I already say that). I would look around and if there is a boat show near- Go to it. I saw that you are in Tennesse, there is one in Bham at the end of the month. Look around and I am sure that you will find one.

Wake Baits
Mann's has a new wake bait, they are between 5 and 6 dollars. I ordered a couple off of their website and love the way they run. I have only thrown them a couple of times so haven't caught anything yet. Actually I was only throwing them to see what they ran like and had one hit it right at the boat, suprised me so much that I yanked it away. They look alot like the Mann's C4 but with a more vertical bill. They have a pretty cool video on their website too.

Rapala's DT Series
Hey guys, Has anyone had any problems with those Sureset hooks on some of the DT series? I Like them, they stick fish in all kinds of places, but I feel like I am losing alot of them. Does anyone else use these and if so do you feel like they get hung up more than your normal hooked cranks?
-
Paint questions?
Hey guys, I have a couple of older cranks that I love, but the paint is coming off of one of them. If there any way to protect the paint from coming off of the others, like a clear coat or something that I can put on? I just love fishing these older cranks.

Anyone use or tried a quality spincast reel??
i have got my wife one of those Rhino's that you can get at Academy or Wal Mart. Thing has held up well, and she has used it and coaught fish on crankbaits, worms , and spinner baits. Seems pretty tough, but I am looking for her one that has a higher gear ratio, for faster retrieves.
