I been on a metal roof all morning, but for contrast I get to go work on an ice machine this afternoon some of us don’t mind the heat

And that’s northern Alabama …….. I’m guessing that’s why some guys are fishing shade lines and under lily pads. This part of the river looks so much better than our part 😂

“All they do is stare at a screen “ Tell me you don’t watch BASS without telling me you don’t watch BASS
  6. I saw coyote crap in my front yard yesterday
  7. I might be the guy to answer this one. I live right near the river in downtown Knox and spend weekends at a lakehouse 45 minutes south. The problem i have leaving the boat at the dock is not theft because there are 100k wake boats at all the other docks so nobody seems to mess with my little jon boat . I think my parents did have a battery stolen off a pontoon in the early 90s but that’s when we were the only dock in there. what I do have is lots of spiders but they don’t really bother me. Also constant water sports/waves will beat your boat to death, you’ll need whips or a lift to keep it from banging also we’ve had the boat sitting on dry mud/rocks a few times because the lake goes up and down daily. I can solve that one by just tying off out in front of the dock instead of in the shallow slip. Having the boat in the driveway is nice for pulling drain plug and cleaning as well as going to Different launch sites, truck gas is cheaper than boat gas almost every single time fire away with some more questions !
  8. I’ve also got a multimeter in my truck. Cheap way to know what’s going on beware of auto parts store diagnostics. I went to an auto zone once and they said my battery was dead. Then went 150 feet down the road to advance auto and they said the battery was fine. I asked them what kind of portal I must have driven thru in that 150 feet that changed my fate
  9. I get more bites in the rain but if I’m in my bigger boat it soaks all the way thru everything, ruins lures, and takes forever to dry out. I watched a pro tourney recently and a guy said “BASStrack will be off for me today, that rain killed my scale” I smelled what he was stepping in
  10. Mine will alarm while it’s peeing
  11. Summer is the best time to get shallow smallies here but it’s vastly different than a natural nothern lake
  12. She’s a buckeye, that’s the only place for them to vacation 😂 that or gatlinburg……..
  13. Thats what I call a big lure
  14. Finesse buzzbait, finesse Alabama rig, finesse glide bait
  15. Thats actually not his boat, that one belongs to Brian Schmitt screenshots from the internet can be deceiving
  16. The savants also routinely mis identify bass for catfish.
  17. Mine does that ! It’s the intake tube. I had a Buddy adjust it one time and it stopped for several years. It still does it on extremely rare occasions, where I idle at the lowest speed in gear for several minutes straight.
  18. I have a 2006 dodge ram as an everyday driver. I have manual locks, windows, and transmission so it lasts a little longer 😂
  19. I got a buddy that catches pretty crazy numbers of big smallies in this one small spot. He showed me right where it is and I’ve got one 13” fish there lifetime waypoints wont help you find your own fish
  20. There are a bunch of small lakes and rivers up there too @Pat Brown. I’m sure you’ve seen some lake minichuck footage
  21. Fishing is not an elite sport, I did it for years on poverty wages. Keeping up with the Jones’s is an elite sport and it ain’t just in fishing 100%
  22. The only downside is it sounds like I’m fishing at an airport terminal on Saturdays and Sundays in shallow water 😂 yall gotta slow down to catch a fish at some point
  23. Sidenote: I got married right here
  24. Rumors are they will limit the number of inches screen wise for insurance purposes and maybe limit transducers to 2 . Personally I don’t care what they do, I’m watching bassmaster either way. I don’t think it makes any difference. I think young guys are good because they came up fishing tournaments in high school and college, that didn’t exist a generation ago
  25. Hahah! Nah that’s what the multimeter is for i start my truck dozens of times a day and you get used to the sound. When it’s not as peppy you know it’s getting close
