When do you replace your car battery?
Smart fellas Haha! I think we have two sets in both our cars and one set in the boat If I kept that in my boat it would be unrecognizable 😂

Summer is here
That is a common strategy/advantage of the jet boat. The jets in this region never go long without getting on plane, ironically easier to avoid hitting a rock that way (the impacts are usually when drifting)

Derek Hudnall Retires From BASS Elites
I took a full time job as a fishing guide when I was 23. Most people said “but there ain’t no money in it “ they were correct not sure how this surprises everyone, maybe just that bad news sells better than good news I’ve seen Hudnall fishing the tour for a while, he’s pretty darned good

Sounds like my every trip. Spinning combo, 6 lb line, jighead worm, jighead minnow, and black marabou crappie jig that’s the majority of my fishing i only power fish when I don’t want to be interrupted by bites and catching fish

I will agree that Georgia is the hottest place I’ve experienced in the US but I’ve never been to Louisiana I played golf in Georgia and thought we were going to spontaneously combust . We also went to a football game tailgating in an asphalt parking lot , brutal Somehow Florida has always felt a few degrees cooler than Georgia to me in the summer- Summer is here
Yes in downtown , but it was 70 a month ago. The downtown area is fed by swift current from Douglas and Cherokee dams. They fill those two lakes up in spring holding back all the current and the water sits still and warms up. Then once they are full they start letting water loose from the bottom of 100+ ft lakes and its cooollddd between Knoxville and lenoir city the river slows down and backs up into creeks and it gets warmer also- Vehicle Recommendations for Bank/Kayak Angler
If I need to replace the ole ram one day I might look into that do they still have one with 4x4?- Post a photo a day!

Ok 27 mph catches my attention!!! Good to know @Zcoker i also forgot to mention I’ve fished from Michigan to the Atlantic coast of SC and the gulf coast of Florida mostly with my wife’s Honda fit and an aluminum canoe- How many use straight braid exclusively?
I have not found this to be the case, braid gives me a little bit more to worry about than regular ole fishing line, and it costs more I like using braid when I’m throwing really heavy stuff , for ultra light I’m still a fan of 4-6 lb mono/floro- Summer is here
It hasn’t been very hot here yet and now that the dams are flowing the water is cold . 62 degree water temp last week- Any interest in trapping?
Then the worms eat the mole and the roles are reversed- Stop Raining
I mean, CCR is from the arid state of California 😂 We can’t stop the rain here, TVA only hopes to contain it- Where do you rank on the Angling Tech Scale (ATS) and why?
If you have no motor, all you need is a signaling device to turn on if needed. A cell phone flashlight even counts. Motorized yaks require all the stuff a boat does (I think). Also not sure if Everglades counts an “navigable,” that coast guard designation is beyond vague. You could interpret a rain drop as navigable by their definition- What I Remember About Bass Fishing
Outside of 4-5 cities in TN, there are some pretty large expanses of backwoods nothingness. Some small towns are even completely abandoned with old service stations that have large trees growing on the concrete . the same can be said for parts of GA, AL, KY, etc. Some people are moving into the nothingness but not that many, most folks want to be within an hour of a function gas pump and grocery store 😂 I actually like living in or near the city where I can walk to places if needed. We had 9 consecutive days this winter where normal vehicle travel was impossible- River/Tidal Systems and Bass Spawn
The waters in East TN go up and down 4-5 feet every night and day in many places . I don’t know how they deal with it but they do. It is very rare to be able to see them spawning, so I’d imagine it happens a little deeper than you would expect- Ambassadeur reels - anyone still use these, should I keep mine or sell for modern reel?
But where do you get the replacement thumb button? All the ones I’ve seen are connected to a frame and $40 + (which I usually get a whole reel for that or less ) - Summer is here
