The amount of mid-late 1980s bass trackers you see around here is staggering. They must have made something right, they are usually parked in a yard for a few years at some point and still run great

@A-Jay, it’s an impossible act to follow but your new coach is a former UT (and of course pats) linebacker, he was there the same time we were. One of my buddies had a public speaking class with him “back in our day” 😂 . He was a heck of a player and I think he’s been on the coaching staff a while

@Susky River Rat, I feel lost when I am looking at them haha. I have a nice lowrance at the console with excellent detail , down and sidescan. I can see all kinds of cool stuff and fish on it, only problem is that never really translates to meat in the box. Maybe a time or two but I catch a lot more fish just going to where I know they will be and fishing around. I don’t have a depth finder up by the trolling motor where I fish from I do have a few extra smaller ones I should put on the front , maybe I’ll do that tomorrow since we are snowed in

Yeah they have Marshall with scale In the boat at the fork tournaments and they can bring in one fish over 24” for the weigh in (or their under 16s). Most of them just weigh and release the over 24” so they don’t have to baby sit it I believe they also used a Marshall with scale at lake Travis one year

@gimruis, we live on a popular trail system so usually it’s someone walking their dogs by our fence to get up to the trails. But it’s definitely a wild card, I swear Bo can smell a storm coming and he will start barking at it Ironically we believe that creature to be a beagle/basset cross it’s supposed to remain cold down this way , I’ve heard of more single digits coming and maybe an ice storm Thursday. Low of 4 and 13 over the weekend

Hahahahahaha, remaining pretty bored so far, may go shovel the driveway again. I don’t think many roads are passable , I’ve heard of several highways/interstates being closed by DOT. Everybody is just walking around 😂 several folks attempted driving and some did fine, lots did not. My buddy got behind a Harley yesterday that was just gunning the throttle and barely moving forward for quite a ways
