I try to avoid podcasts at all costs. Fishing related shows are the only ones I will play. My wife plays some of outside magazine on road trips and even those have a not so subliminal message. Buyer beware, my buddies from college drink any podcast kool aid they hear

I was watching YouTube today and a guy with the latest and greatest gear was fighting and 11 lb bass on spinning gear and he says “my drag just completely gave out!” He was reeling against it and not gaining any line this is why we backreel. It’s not for everyone but it sure gets made fun of, maybe now some will understand you’ve gotta look a little more closely ! It happens

@Bankbeater, lord have mercy they need to give you what they gave me, it worked instantly, although I’m sure it varies from person to person. Took 4 pills in the morning that were somewhat effective. Then drink the drink and that’s all she wrote

@flatcreek, didn’t have long today so I tossed the ole Bobby garland. Did try a spoon for a while and caught a rock and two branches , caught 6-8 small fish with the Bobby garland

Got out on the water and caught some fish, what a relief. I nearly forgot how to drive a boat. Also saw a tiny iceberg and a cool mud line

Smallmouth 4.5 lbs largemouth maybe 3 lbs if I’m lucky
