  1. Anytime is good time to fish at a dam. Even better when it’s generating and/or spilling over the top
  2. @ol'crickety, don’t let the terms confuse you, ten years ago it was called “keeping your bait in the strike zone.” Before that it was called crappie fishing
  3. That’s why I can’t believe nobody got a penalty while having their foot on the troller with the lure just dangling and only one hand on the rod, saw a lot of it
  4. Send augers 😂 just kidding we have 62 degree predicted high on Thursday but there’s still snow everywhere
  5. A snow plow is out there on my street 9 days later. There is a large crowding walking around filming the event 😂 . Freedom is imminent
  6. @Pat Brown, there were large portions of Logan Martin frozen over in Alabama for that tourney and I’ve heard of a good bit of Cherokee lake in east TN is frozen. Might take some rain to thaw out a small pond but the reservoirs should melt rapidly with any extended sunshine and a breeze
  7. My ole salty Capt fishing buddy always needed a ride to his dr appts. He is hilarious and kept the nurses laughing, he had a version of that one also 😂. When I took him for cataracts he was kind of reserved and said “I don’t have much comedy for eye people “
  8. Thats what got the world record smallie, one ounce short of 12 lbs
  9. My guess is rattle trap
  10. Hahaha I swear I posted a pic of my IV after they woke me up but I was in LA LA land Google may flag my screenshots 😂
  11. I’ll charge ya $49.99 and get a skunk to spray one yellow
  12. 😂 😂 😂
  13. I have to sniff out dead animals in crawl spaces, walls, and attics at work. Gets pretty gross with possums and it’s usually possums 😂. not sure why cats play with their food, practicing how to kill the next one I guess. Or they just like to party
  14. I’ll fish when it’s miserable, guides don’t freeze too quickly until it’s mid twenties. Alabama bass trail had a monster tourney this weekend, launched at like 14 degrees. A night crawler works magic on bass when it’s cold
  15. Bob goes ice fishing!!! id be too chicken to walk on that even where the person in the photo is standing 😂
  16. @casts_by_fly, oh no Hahahahaha. At least they knew what they were in for
  17. Bass tourneys ban it, I would imagine, because it’s crazy effective. Granted some of this hover strolling stuff I see on bass live and watching Josh jones cast then stroll around might as well be trolling, not sure where we draw the line there (he’s not in tournament just scanning and chasing targets). Also a bass boat will only go as slow as about 4 mph so they would have to troll with electric I love trolling but since I live in swift water it’s very tricky, too much debris coming down and constant snagging. It’s the opposite of boring , constant fiddling with getting snagged and dragging in grass blobs. Try running two rods and it’s absolute chaos, you will run over your line at some point. Now trolling deep open water is something I should do more often but I have more confidence slamming a bait into the river bottom at 2-3 mph. I look forward to trying the open depths but when I’m with a friend I don’t subject them to trolling and I almost always bring a friend
  18. You just reel the spy bait slowly ? Always wanted to buy one of those
  19. Ah, little gross but I think I’ve heard of people doing that. I got knocked out and scoped and they gave me 3 pages of photos 🤮. im also guessing the cologuard is cheaper but my 2024 insurance says they paid for it. My 2023 insurance was going to bill me $880
  20. Hahaha not sure what that is, only the prep occurred at home. We had to park my wife’s car a quarter mile downhill at a church last night so we could get out in the dark this morning Thanks buddy he’s done with chemo and waiting to get it cut out. Chemo worked well enough to skip radiation (they say)

Got the colonoscopy, all clear ! My brother has colon cancer so they recommend I get one ten years before his age diagnosis. Bout 8 years too late for that (they just found his this year and he’s 41 I’m 39), however all clear anyhow
  22. Ok @12poundbass, I see where you went wrong. You’re supposed to do that before the game , that way you are asleep at the conclusion when your team loses. Take it from a lifelong TN fan
  23. Thanks, they said the same thing on the radio bills fans, sorry but ya can’t put that one on the refs. The guys in blue dropped the ball literally and figuratively kid makes the field goal and you get mahomes to Kelce to set up a game winner by butker or just score a TD
  24. @throttleplate, I’d say it depends. I never really use poison but it does work, if the mice are already in the car I wouldn’t worry about drawing them in but it’s not the food they are normally after, they just want something to get into out of the weather. What I would worry with poison is where will the thing croak and can I get to it instead of driving smelly car. Thats why I use snap traps, you always know where to find the carcass. I feel like driving the car everyday is the best solution but sometimes not practical, my personal truck sometimes sits for a few days outside without moving
  25. Power bait makes some for trout (and bass eat them)
