  1. The last time I didn’t go fishing for a solid week may have been before I got a drivers license
  2. I couldn’t do it!
  3. Ole blue shovel. They’ve plowed our main streets but all the neighborhoods are solid ice. We got 10” Sunday-Monday and none has melted, most snow since 1993 . Lemme hold a tractor 🚜
  4. My house is wooden, built in 1963 😂 I can drive to the mountains and see several log homes from 1800s
  5. @TriStateBassin106, just watch the Florida tourneys……. i watch a whole bunch of BASS live and people easily forget about the entire season because they always finish up north in deep clear water using electronics. The season started with Scott Martin catching big ones on a devils horse and nobody remembers. Hunter shryock nearly won Murray on a berkley choppo right against the bank. They remember the last tournament which is st Lawrence and FFS it’s a strange phenomenon that happens nowadays, nobody remembers anything except the last thing
  6. I woould never go after SMB without a plastic worm
  7. Day 6 : a squirrel ran across the fence
  8. 2 hours??? Been a week ! Haha. Sorry we normally like to go to work and do stuff down here……. This stuck at home business is for the birds
  9. Nothing has melted and we got a little more snow today, single digit lows this weekend. We may thaw out by easter!
  10. ^thats the spirit! I tried breaking the ice in a 12 foot jon boat once it was like hitting a brick wall 😂
  11. Captains log : day 5. I saw another bird
  12. Love bank fishin until I get stuck on bottom and can’t go get my hook back. Then I say bad words
  13. I don’t know much about spinnerbait fishing but 1/8 jighead is in my wheelhouse, thats what I’m throwing most anytime bout anywhere (exception down south in the thick stuff) I put a lot of worms on there too but they are usually 4”-6” (although half a nightcrawler is deadly) spro pintail is that chartreuse bait and it’s great in hot weather (probably great in cold weather but I ran out )
  14. I’m like Clayton and also still watch @everythingthatswims on YouTube . Granted I have no clue about saltwater but still entertaining
  15. @wonkyrig, Boone has got some big LM, sounds like you might have fished the upper end . Granted I’m only speaking from years of reading reports, never tried myself. It was drawn down 20-30 feet for what seemed like 6-8 yrs and now refilled, that is always a recipe for good LM fishing and spawning. Trees and grass grew on the dry ground while it was lowered then they all got flooded upon refill, which is ALWAYS the best case scenario for a bass. Thats why lakes were so good when they first built dams
  16. Well ice augers aren’t available here…… 😂 I’ve walked to the gas station twice this week and rode to ace hardware with my wife but it was closed. Shoveled the driveway and all the cars, might attempt escape later today. She is picking up a friend and going to a Pilates class to avoid stir craziness, our 10” of snow hasn’t melted whatsoever and they only plow the interstates and highways. We can get out but everything is closed 😂 Tuesday the DOT was recommending only travel in emergencies but I think they have backed off that I have some catfish bait buried under the snow in a bucket but I’m guessing my line would just freeze
  17. You’d be long dead before you have to rebuild that
