As a person that catches squirrels for a living, this is not entirely true…….. 😂 I even know a master falconer that will turn his birds loose on squirrels and they strike out most of the time

I’ve done exactly what you’ve done , and I agree. I love mono . I keep braid on one or two for very heavy lures and catfish but don’t really like bass fishing with it

I was taking my boat out this morning and couldn’t resist checking my offshore spot before work. Heard some violent topwater there last night. Get there and see a juvenile bald eagle looking like it just caught something. Good sign! I Got a walleye, hard to quit but it’s Monday so I trailered it after 30 minutes haha
