  1. They’ve been holding BASS tournaments here for 30 years, it’s here to stay . Blaukat and @cyclops2 are the only people that think the end is near they have weighed a dozen anglers and I’ve lots count of how many 6 lb smallies hit the scale already
  2. This place is just ridiculous
  3. Every person is a case study, I’ve had plenty of clients tell me to cast it out there and catch the trout myself after hours of floundering around helplessly. I can sit there and lean on my net and talk baseball while you miss fish all day long ? . Or if you want me pop a silly trout in the face I’ll do that too. 99% won’t set the hook fast enough. I always know what it takes to catch the fish and usually they can’t do it no matter what I say. But sometimes if they watch me do it live, they have a better shot whenever someone tells me before the trip even starts that they don’t want me to cast at all, I pretty much just check out and watch butterflies. I wasn’t planning on casting anyway, that’s just a waste of a bite. But now I know the angler is a little too worried and their fish karma is way off. Usually those clients try too hard and skunk there are no rules, play the person not the fish
  4. Ok I’ll put it this way: there isn’t a boat telltale/pee hole on this planet than a mud/dirt dobber can’t fit in…….
  5. This happens in like 75% of the US, dumbest thing ever. We do have a couple places with milfoil and everything seems quite healthy there but most gets killed
  6. Glenn is the man! Any of y’all could probably find him roaming the aisles of the classic in Tulsa next year representing bass resource. Not sure if he will bring the bait monkey disguise with him or not @Big Hands

I drink well over a gallon per day, maybe 2 this time of year. I sweat a whole lot at work . I fill this thing, I believe 40 oz with ice and water. Usually I refill it 3 times before the ice melts and then repeat the whole process after work. I always have a gallon jug or two for backup in the truck. Less plastic is more better, refill the jugs
  8. Well it depends…. Wade/swimming in the mtns it’s nearly impossible to have more than one. Canoe kayak having 2-3 is nice. Usually 5-7 in the motor boat
  9. Thanks! Yeah it was lousy fishing so I thought I’ll use this rusty jig and won’t mind breaking it off. After I released the big one I got stuck and brought in a tube with no hook
  10. You found dirt yet claim in ain’t a dirt dauber…… dirt daubers are well know to clog the pee hole on boats across the US and your area is littered with them, they can get small in the end it doesn’t matter what did it just clean it out. I keep weedeater string in the boat

Audio doesn’t work on my end either
  12. I find myself casting like this then before the bait lands I’ve switched to this grip to work the bait
  13. Slow bite turned into a wonderful evening, I was trying out the new st croix mojo bass and caught a LM, then a 21” SM! I had just found an old rusty jig head and wire brushed it and stuffed it inside a tube. The SM bent the hook but didn’t come off! Water temp 69 degrees, that helped cool the 92 degree air
  14. I think you got that joke from @roadwarrior ?
