I had this guy fishing across the river from me for a while one day. We were discussing fish captures at the ramp after taking the boats out, he said “honestly I was just trying to stay close enough to y’all to hear Hank”

They never fight on the end of your line, but always fight when You try to grab them

My buddy got a nice catfish off the dock , pulled some drag on his light spinning rig

I’ve had good success fishing the rapala shadow rap deep that way

All the bass species live in happy harmony here

That’s the beauty of a boat trailer my friend, find clear water! I’ve got chocolate milk water at several of my normal haunts. Right in front of my dock being one of them! Haha. Also the river in downtown Knox is brown. BUT! There are clear water options, to which I shall be traveling here shortly

Shoot, I don’t mind either but all my hooks do……… you need the umbrella (aka lightning rod) over the tackle
