  1. When we were younger my brother would bring it down from Philly and nobody could pronounce it. Now it’s at every gas station haha. You can get 2 16 oz cans got $2
  2. I don’t use ned rigs, most would consider that unheard of
  3. Always weightless around cypress. I can’t even flip a jig into them without losing several ned rig in cypress, might as well just toss your wallet into the drink 5/0 hook, no sinker, purple stick worm and 65 lb braid . skips like a dream
  4. We have a spot that my wife always wants to get spicy ramen from. Last time we went there, I had sweat dripping off my ears, holy crap it was hot ?
  5. I haven’t really ever written it down, but I think I’ve caught (and eaten, hehe) NLMB FLMB alabama spots ky spots SMB meanmouth (smallie x spot ) Suwannee (didn’t eat those, only got them for the first time today ) im not sure if meanmouth counts as a subspecies being a hybrid the redeye bass (coosae spp) is within my reach but I don’t think I’ve ever caught one so what I need I guess would be shoal bass in GA, never fished in that state. And a Guadalupe bass. Seems like there’s a couple more I can’t recall but I’ve caught 6-7 depending on what you do with meanmouth
  6. Have you not followed MLF for a while? The head scratchers and not infrequent
  7. Peyton prefers bud red label, looked like he had a few. I was drinking yuengling for the game
  8. Not the playoffs, but these 4 are our good friends. Made it on tv hahaha and then ESPN , with all their “wizdumb”, put this on the screen, which didn’t happen. Peyton manning played for the Indianapolis colts in 1998
  9. She laughs when she sees my photos , and then says “why do you have so much dirt on the lens” because I crawl thru poo for a living I’ll try to get her to send me some of the turtle and bird pics . She also got a good one of an egret swallowing a live fish
  10. My wife is a professional photographer, you should see the 500 pics she took
  11. They do all of these things every single time, never again after having to hammer a screwdriver thru my filter to get it off
  12. Man, that thing has been going since I was in college, used to read about it on local forums many years before I discovered this one. The local forums all died
  13. Indeed, there were 75 of them every which way you looked on the river today. I put my iPhone underwater and snapped that
  14. Some days are diamonds……… some aint ray Roberts fish are probably as smart as they get, 50 degree water is nowhere near cold enough to make them lethargic
  15. Take rain coat and sunscreen, winner every time. 50 percent chance everyday, might rain might not
  16. Meanmouth is easy in east TN. Georgia is the place to be if you wanna catch them all, Alex in GA has done it I think (can’t mention him with the @ for some reason)
  17. It’s probably about as cold as NW PA on dale hollow haha. The Cumberland plateau is one heck of a micro climate as you know, colder than surrounding areas 100% of the time
  18. You make some tracks buddy, thought you lived somewhere west of me haha
  19. He’s in Philly
  20. Nice ones!!!!! Can’t trust a weatherman (no matter what BR members claim about 95% accuracy)
  21. Spotapotamus
  22. I believe you are correct Katie. Alex, the Suwannee were very easily caught, probably considered difficult because they only exist in one place. The river was beyond crazy, a few places it looked like a tributary was coming in. One of them my wife paddled into and started zooming downstream. That’s right, she branched off the main stem and was going downstream. Fast. And it was a dead end into a whirlpool that disappeared underground. There are springs that come out of the ground and flow into the river, that seems normal. But this was the exact opposite , some of the main river branches off, traveled fast, and disappeared in a swift whirlpool underground . Absolute crazy talk, water goes downhill where I live………… then I’m pretty sure all that water that went underground came back into the river a mile or so downstream right in the center of the channel. It was a deep stretch and all of a sudden there was a swirling current coming off the bottom and going in all directions .
  23. I’m also in the minority that doesn’t really enjoy Yellowstone. Seemed like they just kept reaching for more made up drama
