  1. Someone please beat Georgia.
  2. They don’t even scare when you are down there with them! They probably think I’m a harmless pale manatee
  3. Yep! Once I started snorkeling I was amazed. There aren’t many places in a river without a bass. That “90 percent of the fish are in 10 percent of the water” is total BS where I live. There are fish in every corner of the water. Electro fishing (or just electronics) will also make this evident
  4. Yeah buddy! Bass eat crappie. So many crappie guys get mad when big bass break off their 4 lb line
  5. Weightless junebug trick worm is my jam, especially around slimy bottom. That’s about all we throw in south alabama
  6. Hey that’s my tier!! Alright!! Lemme hold a FFS!!! I can wait…….. my head unit is actually capable, just don’t have the transducer. It’s mounted at the console tho, guess I would have to re rig
  7. Strike king? Bitsy tube and bitsy bug. Oh boy do I love them
  8. Yeah man, @MN Fisheris correct. They would be ice fishing today
  9. My brother said it’s 62 degrees in PA today but he also sent a video of his daughter chucking ice onto what she thought was a puddle but it was more ice
  10. I’ve never weighed many but I would imagine I’ve caught a good many 5-5.5 lbers and maybe some approaching 6. I don’t really think I’ve ever eclipsed 6 lbs. We get lots of 21-21.75 inch smallies and some are fatter than others, I think it’s safe to assume a smallie over 21” that is fat will be pushing 5. I’ve weighed a 5 lb plate on my spring scale and it weighs 5, so I have weighed a few that went 5. all that said, I would imagine my best 5 for lifetime is a smidge over 25 but definitely not 30
  11. You are too kind! My cousins boyfriend used to have a gambler bass boat. He took me out on toho once, we slayed with Carolina rig trick worm in 5 feet . 1 oz sinker, blew my mind
  12. Floated a small river today thanks to advice from @N Florida Mike. This is quite fun and more my speed than salt water haha. This may be the FLA paradise @AlabamaSpothunterwas referring to. Caught a Suwannee bass within the first ten minutes, then 2-3 little largemouth. Paddled into some springs and checked out the clear water! Ended up with 3 or 4 Suwannee and 3-4 largemouth, still can’t count as well as @ol'crickety. Missed a lot of machine gun bites I assumed were sunfish.
  13. BASS Opens are full with a waiting list
  14. Retriever don’t care, loving it with a smile
  15. I only use one technique haha. I use fiberglass 6’6” spinning rods that cost $13-$15 most of the time
  16. I’d be shocked if you couldn’t get her running for a reasonable cost. Those things were made to last
  17. That’s all anyone talks about in east TN! They are black tho
  18. Then Shoot that brute some berma shave!!!
  19. Makes a ?, don’t it?
  20. Got several of both, I use Sherpa lined zip up the most. When it’s really cold I have a goose down zip up with hood from Eddie bauer. It’s my first ever down, my wife got it for me after watching me backpack up mountains stuffing heavy jackets in my pack . The light weight down is great if you have to tote or pack it
  21. I grilled 4 hamburgers……..
  22. That’s a screenshot from a video. Why did I not think to post the video???!!!! And my wife paddling thru it too
  23. It sure is! You get to hold the hops and everything haha ?
  24. @Eric 26, it may be about a dollar a can after checking a few other stores
