  1. It’s been raining pretty good all day, our drought seems to have ended with one fell swoop I don’t think it will flood but it’s wet
  2. We got the hurricane remnants this time, didn’t get a drop from Ian finally cooling off and finally getting rain, the fish are about to throw a party

I don’t use any z man worms but that’s what the man himself did
  4. I’m not sure but they are pretty small
  5. Didn’t really have time for boating after work so I hit up the local rock pit. Caught one first cast, bad luck. Apparently not, got one second cast! Ended up with 4-5 all the same size. An old timer told me there were big fish in there so I keep trying, so far after 2 years every fish I’ve caught is the exact same size
  6. Never would have noticed but I was fishing a clearish rock pit today and this spiraled on its way down

This is the preferred keeper style of my buddies that use lots of TRD

That works as long as you don’t get stuck and break off, which is impossible in some places I remember one of the bass elite pros practicing with a ned rig on pickwick and he said “I’m going to run out of jigheads if I do this” durable worm doesn’t help if it’s not tied to your line anymore also a fella named ned cut zinkerz in half for his rig
  9. Hopefully all the vomit on my iPhone doesn’t hinder its functionality.

Durable enough to turn from solid to liquid
  11. Everyone has to keep up with the Jones’s, everything has dual poles here too but I’ve never once seen anyone use them the only reason I could see them being better than spot lock is they only make noise when you first drop them, as opposed to constantly adjusting i use a cinder block and a rope haha, works at most depths approaching 100 feet

Jigheads and worms are my main expense when it comes to fishing, it’s not trivial for me and there’s no way I’m paying double for half worms

Use a different worm, all other kinds are more affordable too
  14. Gutter guards just hide your issues as well as invite squirrels in
  15. Depends on the river. Is there a dam upstream of where you fish? For instance the river where I live the water is coming from the bottom of two different lakes. So all the water in the river is coming from 120 feet under the surface of large reservoirs. Therefore it’s a warmish temp despite the cold nights at least up until Christmas. I was fishing 65 degree water last night free stone waters, those without a dam, basically suck for smallie fishing once it’s good and cold. At least where I’m at they can still be caught but it’s better elsewhere. If I was forced to try I would fish the deepest slowest water I could find
  16. In a nearby lake
  17. The river my lake house is on was also listed in that top 100 trout streams, the little Tennessee. It ain’t a river no more……. im familiar with trout lineage, doesn’t mean I have to like them! Smoked trout dip is the only redeeming quality of a stocker, and even that is a PITA
  18. I’ll fish for anything that’s not a stocker trout……….
  19. I’m all about the Texas rig
  20. Yea like late April until Halloween
  21. The summertime heat in Midwest heat is no joke. I figured it would be nice and cool when I went to my brother in laws wedding in NW Ohio near Michigan and Indiana. It was august or sept, I think it was mid 90s and humid. Felt like Alabama or Georgia haha
