  1. Ricky Bobby mentioned something about that when he got his windshield logo
  2. For whatever reason they never will keep their mouth closed when I try it. They will lay still all day with their mouth open but close and it goes bananas
  3. If I ever get a musky I’m not posting any pics on the internet , don’t want the musky mafia coming at me haha
  4. Yeah he’s pretty good at it! ive got a buddy that has fished bass boat tournaments for years. He tried a kayak tourney and said taking the pics was way too much work haha
  5. If only the fish would hold still and close their mouth when they lay on that board. Can you engineer such a fish? I honestly would like to fish in some kayak tournaments but I don’t see any way on gods green earth to get a good enough picture to submit
  6. It’s not just kayaks, he’s an equal opportunity basher haha
  7. I’ve never missed much more than 5-6 consecutive days. My body begins to shut down
  8. Nice trip report and pics as always, and excellent article ! I only have one question, how do you keep track of 157 bass??? I lose count somewhere between 3 and 5. (Tennessee public education…….)
  9. I just thought of something maybe worth bragging about for my state. I think TN has something like 285 native fish species so if anyone was trying to cross several off a catch list, this would be a good place to do that it’s not uncommon to catch 8-9 species of fish in a 2-3 hour trip after work
  10. I can rust them myself thank you very much
  11. Sometimes I feel like it takes me 5 years to catch a 12” one
  12. I’m always in subdivisions , can only use air power .177 haha. It makes way smaller holes than the squirrel does. Here’s a pic around back of the same house. Caught 2 there yesterday
  13. Good to hear!!!
  14. I certainly would not. I’ve fried almost 100% of anything electrical while fishing. The only thing I’ve found that won’t fry in the rain is a depth finder. I even got water inside my trolling motor foot and fried it also factor in that I’m a cheapskate
  15. I like to keep my canoe as empty as possible for ease of transport Jig heads, few plastics, few offset worm hooks, few plugs in a cigar box . One spinning rig one baitcasting rig
  16. It’s like 52 degrees here in winter, they are pansies Dang you fishing in an aquarium?
  17. I like to wear layers of cotton while my buddies who are shivering tell me I can’t wear cotton
  18. Depends on which lure the fish are biting. Spinning for light stuff baitcaster for heavier stuff
  19. Cool website , isn’t it? Certain data points also include temperature, PH, etc.
  20. All these data points were red and yellow a couple weeks ago, we are doing a bit better
  21. No I throw them on mono. Slow tantalizing fall . Bout anything sinks with a hook in it
  22. That’s a pretty good one. On a car too!!
  23. What she said……. If memory serves a mythical lumberjack and his blue ox dug it with a maddock and a shovel but seriously they complete it with no trailer and huge vessels I’ve got some friends wanting to paddle the Mississippi in canoes from “source to sea”, it’s becoming a common trip for some related listening concerning the Illinois river and to completely hijack the thread It always makes me want a fruit jar full of iced tea
  24. Target acquired
