  1. Excellent advice, sounds right up greenpigs alley
  2. 47? I saw 67 Monday im sure it could be 47 right below a dam but I doubt the lake is below 60 everything I’ve heard is that it’s overrun with spots and they are small aggressive and bite anything just drive a little further and we can put you in the big brown fish, got a 5+ in tellico sunday……. murphy is only a short crow flight from Knoxville
  3. Hey man how ya feelin?
  4. At first I didn’t even see a bird……… I was going to say loblolly pine tree…….. I’m almost wanting to guess Osprey but it’s hard to see did it slam into the water and catch a fish? Make any noises?
  5. Yeah mine would have attacked the fish, then each other, then me. And probably ate the lure and crapped out the hooks
  6. I’m a fly fishing instructor, knots are like breathing. Last clip I tried to open I had to watch 4 YouTube tutorials and I finally just threw it into the water and tied a clinch knot I do put round split rings on silver buddies and spoons because the lure itself will cut through the line. I tired the clips and got sick of not being able to open or close them in the cold
  7. I can cut and tie a knot light years faster than I can open and close a clip
  8. Yeah we already knew you worked for Uncle Sam, that last sentence just confirms it
  9. If an innocent viewer can’t figure that out on their own……..
  10. They still stare at 2D sonar with drop shot for the last 15+ Years the star of the show is the bass itself, don’t care what lure or graph they use, I just want to see them fishies
  11. I think their new strategy is poll the internet and change accordingly. Guess we will see how that works out
  12. Nice ones as always. Do you dangle night crawlers off all the hook points on your whopper plopper? I’m just noticing they make a lot of appearances in the pictures
  13. I’d wait til you find one haha. I got my first one (a gift) stuck deep and lost it . I’ve found two more since, no way I’m chucking 30 dollars with of crap into a river full of rocks and logs tied to fishing line. Maybe in a sandy bowl shaped lake somewhere but we don’t have those
  14. Indeed. I’ve got some more footage from that fight that isn’t so family friendly haha. A barge came around the bend right toward us and we were just getting dragged around by the fish. I had to paddle backwards for all I had to get out of the way while my buddy kept reeling. Seems like we had a similar thread not long ago, my cousin got a 42 lb in a kayak
  15. I grew up pitching lures all throughout my house and yard. I can toss it in your coffee cup like the bass pro commercial. Practice practice practice. Sounds awfully weird that no line comes off your reel. If you just hold the rod tip up and push the button, does the lure fall to the ground?
  16. Hopefully she’s on the mend, definitely go fishin!
  17. The top of my boat motor really adds to it hahaha
  18. We’re rootin for ya @Spankey, you’ll be back to normal soon enough
  19. Been one or two end up in my canoe
  20. Those are mallards…….. sorry couldn’t help it, just messin with ya
  21. Gotta work on my singing voice…… “oh soooooo laaaaa mmmmeeee oooooo”
  22. I don’t know why I read all this, I quit charging my batteries and have been using a wooden paddle to scull along
  23. Don’t know what else to do? Keep fishing
  24. My wife takes baths all the time! Even has a special tray that sits in there for candles and such……… I was whining about my back hurting once and she said take a hot bath. I filled up the tub, waiting…….. then I sit in the tub and everything from my waist up is out of the water. Probably should have thought of that possibility………. That was my first and last attempt at a bath in the last 30 years
