Haha! I slung that silly thing all evening and got zilch. Caught the one and only fish while furiously paddling (Got trolling motor probs) the boat back up into an eddy, had a plastic worm dangling over the side of the boat and the fish grabbed it haha. I heard rumor of daylight savings being permanent, hopefully it’s true

My neighbors hydro foil behind a jet ski like that, It looks pretty wild. They were out this weekend in wetsuits doing it here they are back in march. Not a great photo, he’s above the water a bit, but sometimes he can just let go of the rope and zoom along independently

I was seeing 69 water temp today so I haven’t broken them out yet, honestly not sure I have any left. I need to start ordering my own blanks. I can only fish them in a select few areas because of too many logs to snag on but I have caught what was probably my PB largemouth with a blade bait (pictured below) and my buddy catches a good many walleye with them. He also caught a 38” striper with a blade bait in the middle of this summer 40’ down, I was working nearby and he gave me the fish because it wouldn’t release

I’ve tried them Alabama Florida North Carolina Tennessee Kentucky South Carolina and maybe some inline in Alaska. I’m not sure I wanna keep going

I only swing hard with thick hooks like frogs and jigs. Most other times I’m using 6 lb line so that’s a no no

No the trout are fed dog food pellets, then humans eat the trout. They are still tasty

We have some water that’s crystal clear coming from the bottom of a 400 foot lake, 52 degrees year round. The rainbow trout from there taste exactly the same as the ones that I feed dog food and catch from a 68 degree creek but it’s human nature to think the ones from pristine waters are better

Well, you did better than me i guess. I was a kid fishing off our dock when I caught my first walleye. I lipped it with my thumb!!! then fast forward to when I was 16, I drove to a dam to fish off the bank. Caught a sauger. I remembered the walleye teeth so I put my hand in it’s gill flap like a catfish. Well the gill flap sliced me open way worse than the teeth ! I got the last laugh on the sauger tho, it became dinner
