  2. If you could somehow completely forget history, I wonder if things would change. When you set out fishing thinking this is August and it will suck, it probably will
  3. Looks like all 90 competitors got a keeper, it’s still fishing a lot better than my home water haha
  4. Dad gummit, I totally forgot this started today! I will watch tomorrow
  5. Thanks for the clarification, I was going to ask if that was legal
  6. Bass, being cold blooded, are the opposite (metabolism wise) at high 30s than in the 90s. The warmer the water, the more they must eat to survive
  7. The fish don’t know that it is august, their calendar got all wet years ago…….. It’s probably more a lack of confidence
  8. It is refreshing when I go up north and see natural small lakes and ponds. The only ponds that exist in the south are on private land (or golf course) and dug with a bull dozer or backed up by a beaver. And people don’t like it when a beaver floods their land so they tear out the dams there is only 1 natural lake in the entire state of TN and it’s 6 hours from my house one way
  9. Yep. That’s why I have more boats than some marinas
  10. The only ponds in my area are private property. Used to fish them as kids, always got in trouble
  11. The cypress swamp hides all things . Those are the stickiest things on earth i’ve been stuck in them so many times I started using only weightless stickworms. Turns out they get stuck in them to
  12. They aren’t a common carrier , but any mammal can get it
  13. Hahahah. It’s species dependent , I’m not allowed to re locate the common rabies vector species . With things like groundhog, squirrel, and possum, I can relocate them at certain places. Also, it’s hard to catch anything twice so releasing down the block would just cause you to have to check empty traps day after day and probably lose money hahaha
  14. During the bassmaster tournament on the St. John’s river this year, Paul mueller said he was fishing a row of docks and a homeowner warned him about an owl that would steal anglers hats off their head. He was fishing along, kind of forgot about it, then catches a dink fish. While he’s flipping it into the boat, and owl dive bombed and almost got the fish. The whole thing was captured on video
  15. Oh baby. My coworker runs most of the fountain city jobs. We used to go there after church when I was a Kid
  16. Cream corn is the best but I would never attempt to make it myself. Ideally you would want someone around the age of 80 cooking it. Doesn’t qualify for corn “on” the cob but man it’s good
  17. Productive morning, also have a skunk to pickup yet
  18. Thanks, my wife cut it at home hahaha. The kitchen floor looked like a poodle had been sheared
