  1. My cousins boyfriend fishes toads underwater in FLA. It works
  2. Catching your own bait can be quite fun, and I’ve caught a lot of big smallmouth with dead shad or stone rollers you don’t necessarily have to stop at the bait store or keep them alive
  3. If only the bass knew that those worms were intended for only panfish. Someone should inform them with a bi weekly memo delivered to their little bass mailboxes Just searched for it, the whole thread was hidden. But yes we did this exact same song and dance two years ago
  4. It is extremely easy to mount a trolling motor to one of these
  5. I would say TVA app but it’s terrible compared to just using TVA.com. Spotify app is good for bluegrass music while fishing
  6. Ideally I would know all the property owners along the way and could leave a car anywhere I want to. But the lack of access does seem to be what makes the fishing good at times
  7. I used to paddle back up and pick it all apart. But my buddies were always yelling at me, “the other truck is 10 miles downstream” turns out they were right, had to float some rapids in the dark a few times. Not good there are places we can do shorter floats but those spots are typically very crowded
  8. Spook, pop R, and long A. All bone color
  9. True stuff!!!! Like, time enough to where you go to bed face down with your belt on and your wallet in your pocket. I’ve been there done that and it wasn’t even a fiberglass boat ! Just replacing the wood in aluminum boats will wear a man out
  10. I’m guessing top of a well pump
  11. Happy b day!!!!!
  12. Sounds like you’ve got all kinds of invaders haha. The stiltweed is very common around here, it was used on all the old logging roads to prevent erosion and of course spread like wildfire
  13. Lithium cost extra but that doesn’t mean they don’t foul up. I think there are a few thousand of them at the bottom of the ocean that caught on fire and sank a ship
  14. In that case, you may just have to try a bunch on. I have about 10-12 life jackets, I use them interchangeably from kayak to canoe to Jon boat to bass boat to swimming off the dock this one is my current favorite, floats like a cork. I have to do uncomfortable things all day at work so wearing a life jacket ain’t so bad compared to crawling through an attic
  15. Big foot switch is nice for a hand operated trolling motor, especially on the bow
  16. Why not just wear the kayak one in the motor boat?
  17. Nice LMs! I always hear it called IR on sports radio, injured reserve. Maybe that’s different than the IL? also, I’m not surprised that your meteorologist has been swinging and missing. Par for the course
  18. You are correct, no way I would ever do that haha. I’ve been on trips with buddies targeting Muskie, I’m usually catching white bass on a jig within a couple hours
  19. Will do! He wouldn’t come off that walleye….. hahaha
  20. My buddy got a 38” striper and a 20” walleye this morning. He gave me the striper, I was working a block away. I’ve got it in my work truck in trash bags full of ice hahah
  21. I’m considered armed and dangerous with that pack of worms
