  1. It’s aliens
  2. Only swam in tellico today, no fishing. I know, what a drag…… haha
  3. Or who is telling the story
  4. Since I rarely fish a tournament and we have minimal grass mats, I don’t have to throw that sort of stuff. Worm, fluke, frog, easy stuff to throw for 16 hours fishing jerkbaits or spooks is the few times I’ve thought “dang this is getting old”
  5. Man that sounds cool. They did something similar here but they wouldn’t allow anyone to walk out near the water when the lake was drawn down. They patrolled it 24 hours a day for a few years. Some thing about native artifacts they were trying to protect
  6. I’ve gut hooked fish on a pop R, I haven’t caught “thousands of fish” on anything without gut hooking. my friends have gut hooked quite a few on ned, mostly winter smallies. Not novice anglers either.
  7. I’ve always heard white ones referred to as piebald
  8. Yeah buddy!!!
  9. I’ve never punch fished, my injuries have always been from bees haha
  10. Yeah, you gotta take the lid off……
  11. Interesting morning yesterday. Put in at sunrise and the water was raging from overnight generation and 63 degrees. We floated 4-5 miles with no luck (3 of us). I was throwing the FishLab gizzard shad, a huge bait, and it got rocked. I can tell it’s a smallie and it’s pulling hard. Then I get it near the boat and it’s a nice 3 lb fish but it’s hooked in the head, hence why he was pulling so hard. It kept diving under the boat and slamming the lure against the bottom of the boat, you could hear it. After several jumps I could see the hook tearing a hole and it finally jumped off. so then we floated another mile or so and as the boat was moving along I was dragging a purple worm and thought I was stuck. Turns out I was stuck to a nice 18” smallmouth that had been captured before
  12. Gar aren’t protected, people shoot them with arrows for fun. Complete opposite end from the canal, up toward chilhowee dam is the cold water
  13. Gar! im seeing white bass and skipjack busting surface in big schools as well. Got a nice mean mouth maybe bout a month ago, water on the top end is cold mid 60s but….. lots of gar
  14. I’ve tried them ! They can be pretty good but 100% is not a number I can attach to anything mosquito repellent related.
  15. I’ve caught one but it took 3 years
  16. 100% ???? Do you have some ocean front property you’d like to sell me in Arizona??
  17. I’ve seen people at the grocery store insist on somebody cutting it in half so they could see it. I actually like buying the halves because we inevitably can’t eat the whole thing
  18. Happy birthday!
  19. My wife got eaten up by them while pressure washing yesterday. We live in a jungle. There are houses all around me but there are also several miles of mountain biking trails through thick woods very close by. It’s literally referred to as the urban wilderness
  20. That’s awesome! You could throw that whopper plopper for a couple years here and not catch anything. I’ve done it
  21. I break 10 lb braid every time I try to tie a hook on the end of it
  22. I’ve got a list of best friends a mile long. If I ever need anything I can just snap my fingers and it appears, via a friend
