  1. I just drag a worm of crankbait on the bottom , no graph required. Walleye love the bottom unless it’s a shad spawn at 3-4 am
  2. I got a kayak for $20 once, I still use it to this day haha .
  3. I think I heard them say that santee has now kicked out a 4 day total over the century mark more frequently than all other stops, including clear lake, CA and amistead and falcon in TX

  5. I can usually go several years, maybe even a decade without spending $500 on batteries
  6. Holy smokes, I’m sticking with lead haha

Get some strike king bitsy tubes and put a round ball 1/8 oz jighead inside it. If they are there, they will eat it
  9. The wind blows something like one of these directions 99% of the time according to my extremely accurate personal weather data (hehe). If it’s coming from the east something is bad wrong, last I can recall was that Saharan dust storm a few years ago (when it’s coming straight from the south out of the gulf, you’re going to get wet. When it’s coming from directly west, the weatherman will be completely wrong no matter what he predicts)
  10. The wind doesn’t blow from the east where I live. Maybe twice a year at most, usually a hurricane
  11. Just watch for bait, they will typically flip around on top
  12. This has come up a lot lately, including myself. I’ve got a couple threads and one video posted on here about it. New regulator fixed mine and one other members, seems like the only other option to replace was the stator. But most often those aren’t the issue, spinning magnets don’t seem to mess up much
  13. The secret to maintaining two homes: have fishing buddies that are carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. That’s what I’ve done hahaha.
  14. Some consider Dottie the record fish even though she was snagged
  15. Drew cook just caught a monster and hugged his camera man haha
  16. Same thing happened here. Makes sense because the only fish season we have is for paddlefish
  17. Kuphall charging hard with the spinnerbait
  18. Tell your buddy with the boat to fish closer to the boat ramp haha
  19. And it corrals any fish, they can’t jUmp over it baha
  20. We rented ours for over 20 years , that can go either way. I’m going to move there one day but of course keep one boat in the driveway on a trailer and canoe/kayak/or Jon boat down at the dock. You don’t have to stuck on one lake if you live on it, the wheels still roll
  21. Got a couple hours in Thursday evening. The water is fast!!!! And white bass love it had another couple hours to spare this morning, I set out some striper bait and casted around with a second rod. I lost the same nice sized LM twice in the same spot. ? This little green sunfish was my consolation prize. He kept me from being skunked and sight fished it haha
  22. I like fishing right below the dam!
