  1. My father in law is the same way. He will only drink scotch when they are butchering livestock and it’s below zero degrees
  2. I forgot to add the hardest part for me is thumb discipline on a bait casting spool when casting left handed. Sometimes I stop a cast dead cold and other times I don’t stop them soon enough . Nothing replaces decades of muscle memory and thumbing the spool is part of it
  3. 17.3 reading on a multimeter? Maybe try a different battery and see if it does the same. And check the water levels in the battery (I always try the free stuff first )
  4. You could probably do ok with it first trip out but it only takes a couple weeks to learn it somewhat well. Obviously it takes a good bit of time to master it like your dominant arm but the learning curve can be surprisingly fast
  5. I love someone that can sort all that out! If left to my own devices, I would get the wrong part 75% of the time
  6. Middle TN received 8.7” of rain in the last two days
  7. Don’t you love it when you encounter helpful employees??
  8. Oh dear, I hate to hear that! You better hit me up next time. We went to Dollywood a whole lot as kids and I hated every second haha. I swore I would never go back but imagine I’ll get dragged there one day Gotcha. Sorry no help with Maryland! Never laid eyes on that state
  9. Thank again!! Congrats to your oldest!! Jennings played harder than anyone in college so that should translate well
  10. Haha where are you? I’ve got a guest bedroom and huge driveway. Can trade lodging for fishing stuff
  11. We share it all with the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers on a constant basis! It actually hasn’t been too wet in Knoxville, it’s the surrounding areas that always get it bad
  12. Congrats!!!
  13. Ummmm…… hahah. I honestly don’t even know! It’s a pile of junk that nobody would want to buy but I make it work A couple of spinning combos with 6 pound mono, a couple of bait casting combos with 12 pound mono. And one rod with braid for frogs in milfoil. Not sure on length and action, most of them franken-rods
  14. The goal is to avoid buying one with a rotten transom. Usually you can grab the leading edge of the lower unit and wiggle it and watch the back of the boat for play. Also it would probably be worth buying a compression gauge and testing each cylinder on the motor. It’s always good to take someone with you that has purchased several boats or is just handy with engines in general
  15. I’ve never caught anything deep cranking.
  16. Not quite as tough as Derek Henry! @J._Bricker, Jennings got his first touchdown for the 49ers yesterday, accompanied by a hilarious dance. Broncos and raiders are undefeated, who saw that coming ??
  17. By the end of the video it’s completely packed, I think they arrived at sunrise and left just after noon
  18. My buddy took me fishing in the rain, caught some decent ones and saw an osprey ripping a fish apart
  19. Wow. Average is 14”/year? That’s crazy dry. Seems like a lot of areas on the east coast can get 14” in a week from time to time
  20. Largemouth indeed. Nice catches
  21. If?? I mean I’m no psychic but……. aren’t they all dry years in California?
  22. Yeah buddy!!!
  23. My buddy got a monster from the back of the boat this evening, it was around 21” and weighed 5 even. Definitely taller and fatter than what we usually encounter! I caught a few small bass and of course a drum
  24. It was 2 days in a row also. The guy I encountered earlier was all alone, no fellow swimmers in sight . Just the little bay watch sized floatie i would rather not see accidents or drownings, I feel like they need to swim near a pilot boat or something
