  1. No they make your shed and porch fall down haha
  2. And guys that live with women like me haha. Although I rented a log cabin in the woods for 5 years, that was a wild ride
  3. There’s been some discussion here and there over the years, here’s some extremely amateur footage of my methods. Works year ‘round
  4. Kind of looks like a fish to me........... If I were to compare it to footwear it would go with house slipper or crocs haha
  5. I gotcha buddy! From what my friends tell me, we have no cottonwood trees here. But we had to learn them in college anyway so I’m familiar with the seed and I’ve heard they eat them. I only fish for carp if I’m DESPERATE for a fix
  6. Thought it was going to be a weekend of no fishing as my fiancé’s mom is in town and staying at our house. This morning they said “we are going to get our nails done, why don’t you fish for a couple hours....... and bring back some fish” sold got a limit of “them ole blue tails” as quick as you want one ! Then tried for striper with no luck bout to try some out on the new grill she bought me today!!!
  7. We thought you knew some kind of magic trick!!! @A-Jay has been trying to hold his mouth different all week while driving to menderchuck
  8. Well said . They can do what they want but we don’t have to do what they want
  9. Goodness gracious! Congrats on that, lucky that bass didn’t capsize your vessel!!!
  10. You might should thank the complainers for the 2 lb minimum , just food for thought. Clearly people didn’t like 1lb minimum and clearly MLF/BPT listened. I feel like they’ve used 2 lb minimum ever since the term dink fest was coined
  11. Oh yes we have a litany of native sucker species but common carp is exotic there’s people around here that still eat Buffalo, they must not have directions to the Kroger store id like to kick ole George in his wooden teeth for bringing those things
  12. More rocks = more work = more money for Berkeley max scent worms and 5 lb smallies
  13. I’ve even went into debt to fix them when I didn’t have the money. Priorities!!!
  14. Congrats!!!! Plenty of room to store rocks!!!
  15. There have certainly been times where it was a pain but it’s a glorious ride and I wouldn’t have it any other way . I’ve had problems with 2 and 4 stroke, things happen. Cars are 4 stroke and they break down too....... I would say the best running motor I had was a 25 merc 2 stroke from the mid 90s (some friendly folks decided to steal that one). I’ve put and untold amount of hours on all kinds of boats and motors. My current 50 hp merc 4 stroke has needed a new starter, rectifier, and a new lower unit or three (hit some rocks and got rear ended on the highway, not factory defects). But by golly, the internal combustion on that motor is smooth as silk, it’s never missed a beat in 11 years or so. Here’s a strange case: I put a harbor freight predator engine on a mud motor kit from Thailand and clamped that onto my small boat. That engine has performed flawlessly 100% of the time since I purchased it circa 2013. Go figure!!! It even sat for 2 years without running in summary, just learn to deal with hardships and get more boats. Turn your driveway into a marina!! I love boats
  16. Try 2.5-3 inch on ball head jig. (Sometimes I even drop down to 2”) Small ones out produce big ones for me about 99 to 1
  17. Sounds like a fun night!! Always remember a hillbilly on the loose is far more dangerous than a gator at night
  18. They aren’t native to any local fisheries in North America
  19. I'm guessing you don't hunt much, definitely not mammals. I know this one fella that sits down while fishing 99 percent of the time. He's pretty good too, y'all might recognize him.
  20. I'm going to make a bold prediction: asian carp are about to start a slow decline. They have been here since the early 90s and have yet to make all other fish extinct. As with all other exotics, I think they have come close to "running their course" at this point. I would imagine they will always be around but they should have eaten all of our children by now according to scientists
  21. I grew up eating pieces of bread with nothing on it, loved the stuff. Now if we have a loaf it just molds and we throw it away. I have no idea how or why but we no longer eat bread at home???? These photos are making me want some though!
  22. Minimally, that I might believe . It started as zero affects which to me is physically impossible, but I'm not a physicist
  23. If my lure looks like a boot, I feel like I've taken a wrong turn somewhere
  24. Gotcha. In this case, I like paddle tails and never use boot tails
