  1. Seems to me like those two fish would have just attacked your jig even if it was a pink and purple mardi gras jig tied to a rattling split ring ................
  2. I have some of trees but it’ll take a bit to find them
  3. I just peel it off onto the floor and reel it back on the other way. The limpness keeps it from tangling
  4. It doesn’t even have to be on tree branches, it’s loud just slicing though the water
  5. I’m always swimming! You can hear a boat prop from half a mile underwater. Water transmits sound VERY well. Get into a pool and have a buddy go to the opposite end. If you both go underwater, you can hear their voice even at almost whisper levels ever wonder why you can hear people clear on the other side of the lake talking? The surface of the water is carrying the sound
  6. I use a jig head with a hook that will bend and rescue a lot of them
  7. I just get snagged a lot. I’d rather break off than try bobber fishing
  8. Hahaha yeah especially when I’ve never lived in Georgia and never enjoyed anything about Atlanta I always pull against the bandwagon teams (cowboys, Braves, Yankees)
  9. You should hear how loud it is when you are swimming in the water! And I imagine a bass can “hear” (feel) a lot better than I can underwater.
  10. Im sure they get pinched/finned and don’t care at all, probably enjoy it because it means they get to eat. Probably doesn’t hurt as bad as getting caught by a fisherman. The only way to know is ask a fish and they don’t say much
  11. Bass are much tougher than you think, pain is not something they worry about. Also they can’t walk into a grocery store and purchase food so they either get pinched/finned or starve to death. Which would you choose? im tougher than a bluegill and a crawfish and a bass, I kill and eat all 3! (Winning.....)
  12. Hork them in!!! I love that. I will forever think of that when dragging in a fish haha @Koz, that happened to me Sunday on a canoe trip. Fish was hung up in deep branches. Still fighting but I couldn’t get it out. Tried slack line, tried paddling around, nada
  13. All my friends grew up as huge Braves fans, that’s why I always cheered against them.
  14. Definitely not a dodgers fan but happy that it wasn't atlanta or new york!
  15. Pour the gas out of them! Haha They will still bite reaction lures in cold water. Maybe not top water but jerkbait and rattle trap are two of my favorite in winter
  16. Mine does that everytime I accidentally cross the voltimeter
  17. Anywhere on the coosa river system will put your right on them . I fish for them a little downriver from Montgomery on the Alabama river, they are a handful
  18. Spoon! I like cotton cordell
  19. Nice work, cool looking area! You got a paper clip stuck on your plug there....... just kidding ......
  20. I went boat fishing in the snow once and had to dig two tire ruts in the snow with a boat paddle to get up the ramp. Unfortunately fishing in below freezing temps isn’t the safest idea in the world, I usually bank fish if it’s below 28 or so. I don’t much care for the idea of falling into the water in the dead of winter and sometimes outBoard issues arise when it’s that cold. The guides freezing still makes it a pain but it’s doable from the bank (and in some places you can build a fire) .
  21. Don’t kid yourself. There’s a reason everyone from up north fishes in Florida. I can fish in 100 degrees with 100 percent humidity much easier than I can -30 with the wind blowing. And I’m not alone!
