  1. Looks like the Tennessee river in Knoxville started dropping at 7 pm last night. My boss said in 1994 he was taking catfish out of his yard and throwing back into the river, according to him this was far less severe but he said his dock was underwater a few inches yesterday. He's always trying to collect driftwood and sell it haha
  2. Yeah it was a lot worse than I thought it would be! I think Pickwick dam was pumping 550,000 cfs or something crazy
  3. Congrats!!!!
  4. Yeah that fish would have broken me off going away. Congrats to the lucky anglers
  5. In the words of Steve Goodman ...... GO CUBS GO!!!
  6. ^wow. First time seeing the sunshine in several days here! The wind is howling so I fear I may be grounded for today.
  7. Our lake smallmouth fight really hard because they can dive deep, something not really possible in the rivers. They go from jumping into the air to 15 feet down really quick
  8. Well we had to wait until 3:30 for a break in the rain but it was worth it! Got 4 nice ones. Hopefully a short video to follow
  9. You don’t need to hear it from a youngster like me, but you are a wise man !
  10. I hooked one in the throat with a spoon today, it bled all over the boat. I told my two buddies in the boat that I guess I was going to have to keep it, although I didn’t really want to as I have plenty of white bass and walleye at the ready. After I finally got it loose, I dipped it in the lake to let it get a breath and it bolted right out of my hand and swam down. 6-8 feet down I saw it thrash wildly, I don’t think it’s doing well this evening but accidents happen sometimes. I wasn’t trying to hurt the poor feller but I think I did . He engulfed my spoon.
  11. I kind of like the “whoever catches the most weight of black bass” format. Not too tricky
  12. You’ve gotta really say something silly to make @A-Jay mad hahaha Does any credit go to pfiezer?
  13. That’s for sure, I don’t think he will need a loan for any fines he may incur
  14. Yikes! We are on several days straight of rain, flood watch on the top of the page every day. It’s a little easier to deal with than what y’all have, especially if it’s above 40.
  15. Well trafficking is a big deal and is not legal in any state. It’s evil and disgusting, not small potatoes. Let’s just hope no one we know is ever kidnapped and forced into sexual servitude. Remember these women have moms and dads back home that are Probably looking for them. I’m aware Kraft May have not known about that part but he just wrapped himself up in a ring of it. To say he had “nothing to do with trafficking” is completely False if he was indeed a paying customer at the establishment. You can’t eat ground beef at a burger joint and walk out claiming to be a vegetarian .
  16. The fish never even hear you coming when you sneak up on them with a canoe. The only problem is my canoe is aluminum so when I drop a bullet sinker, birds (and fish) spook for 75 yards
  17. I have hooked many a smallmouth during relief breaks, I think it draws the predator in close! Haha
  18. @The Bassman, I thought surely you would be frozen in
  19. Yea the curls seem to have the opposite effect of “staying lean”...........
  20. Is it considered “consensual” if the females are kidnapped and forced into servitude?
  21. @tcbass, Whilst doing this, don’t inhale
  22. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to do that yesterday. First few hours of work this morning were rough but im good to go now
  23. Yeah the solicitation thing wouldn’t be that big of a deal but trafficking is indeed a big deal
