  1. Smallmouth bass and a bowl of pasta?
  2. I have a magnolia blooming in my yard....
  3. Sounds like too much fun!
  4. Our fish are much too educated to bite during “chamber of commerce” sunny warm weather .......
  5. I have all kinds of boats and listen to reports from anyone. Bank fisherman are typically fishing to feed themselves so they are who I ask the most.
  6. Hahaha that is not me....... all my friends have those and I refuse to pay $90 for sandals........ they get rave reviews tho
  7. All the mink oil in the world won’t help this! I’ve already sent them back and had them repaired and resoled once. Then they did away with the lifetime guarantee
  8. I bet that cat won’t go near a fishing pole for several years
  9. I can mow through those $200 boots in 6 months..... pics to follow
  10. Like on chickamauga when people come off plane when you set the hook? Followed by a mysterious beeping sound .......
  11. Randy Travis’s answer to your last sentence is “it’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, but what you leave behind you when you go.” I’m not saying I don’t participate in some fishing mind games or anything like that, those lyrics just came to mind. I’ve made some good friends sharing fishing info with others
  12. MY favorite are waterproof leather Wellington style boots. I’ve had a couple different brands and ruined them pretty quickly on roofs though. Does thorogood make any without laces? I hate paying high dollar for boots that I quickly ruin
  13. My buddy brings a blue heeler camping and it barks the entire time day and night. It’s annoying but at least bears don’t sneak up on us . When I took our dogs tent camping, they just kept hearing coyotes and staring off into the distance . I think they wanted to join the pack
  14. Rogne brown is the guy if he’s still doing it. Mike carter is another good one. Scenic city fishing charters has a guide named Ben Hayes that does bass also
  15. You might want to go back to fishing for little ones if MLF/BPT keep taking over !
  16. Yes, Dayton is much more friendly to tournament fishing than Chattanooga. It’s a tiny town that loves the economic stimulus of big tournament. Chattanooga, a much bigger city just a little further downstream, seems more interested in biking and triathlon type events. There’s nothing to do in Dayton but fish haha
  17. Yes, the only reason I knew is because I was in the arena when he explained it
  18. They were still waiting to weigh in on day 2 when they had the convo
  19. Lowrance elite 4hdi. Also on a side note, i have a Belgian made browning A5
  20. Meeeeeee too!! Quicker that way
  21. Chattanooga is having an MLF this year j think
  22. Maybe Sam! I also forgot they had fried Asian Carp that was pretty good
  23. Everyone seems to be enjoying the heck out of it. Even the guys getting skunked are saying they had a good time. Fort loudon isn't the best lake on the TN river for monster bass but Knoxville seems to set up well for such an event. It would be neat to have one in Chattanooga too, someone might bring in 40 lb one day.....
  24. I drive by that area at work almost every day of the year. I always wondered if there were fish in there, thanks to Ike I now know! Haha
