dock talk...
I have all kinds of boats and listen to reports from anyone. Bank fisherman are typically fishing to feed themselves so they are who I ask the most.

Thorogood Work Boots
All the mink oil in the world won’t help this! I’ve already sent them back and had them repaired and resoled once. Then they did away with the lifetime guarantee

Randy Travis’s answer to your last sentence is “it’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, but what you leave behind you when you go.” I’m not saying I don’t participate in some fishing mind games or anything like that, those lyrics just came to mind. I’ve made some good friends sharing fishing info with others

Thorogood Work Boots
MY favorite are waterproof leather Wellington style boots. I’ve had a couple different brands and ruined them pretty quickly on roofs though. Does thorogood make any without laces? I hate paying high dollar for boots that I quickly ruin

Camping and a dog
My buddy brings a blue heeler camping and it barks the entire time day and night. It’s annoying but at least bears don’t sneak up on us . When I took our dogs tent camping, they just kept hearing coyotes and staring off into the distance . I think they wanted to join the pack

bassmaster classic locations
Yes, Dayton is much more friendly to tournament fishing than Chattanooga. It’s a tiny town that loves the economic stimulus of big tournament. Chattanooga, a much bigger city just a little further downstream, seems more interested in biking and triathlon type events. There’s nothing to do in Dayton but fish haha

bassmaster classic locations
Everyone seems to be enjoying the heck out of it. Even the guys getting skunked are saying they had a good time. Fort loudon isn't the best lake on the TN river for monster bass but Knoxville seems to set up well for such an event. It would be neat to have one in Chattanooga too, someone might bring in 40 lb one day.....

The Classic
I drive by that area at work almost every day of the year. I always wondered if there were fish in there, thanks to Ike I now know! Haha
