  1. Lakes with no shad??? So sad.......
  2. It was very easy for me and several others. There are members that routinely catch spots that will agree, @Bluebasser86, @NorcalBassin And @lo n slo are a few that come to mind. Once you have held several spotted bass you can pick one out from any photo
  3. Hey hey hey whoa whoa whoa. Are you suggesting the husky jerk is an “x rap knockoff?” The husky jerk was around before the x rap was ever thought of. And they are both made by the same company. Just ribbing you a little bit, good river info
  4. I always go weightless Texas rigged worm when I’m catching too much goop
  5. There’s smallmouth in downtown Nashville in the Cumberland. And some 60 lb stripers!! Yes you could use that boat all the way upstream until you Start getting into trout water where they run jets. I’ve never driven directly from Nashville to Chattanooga but I’m guessing 2-2.5 hours on I-24. Its a treacherous stretch of road according to Johnny cash coming down monteagle mountain. “It’s a loooong steeeep grade!” (You should check out that song) The two main bass lakes near Nashville are Percy priest and old hickory. Lots of LM in both, good SM population in priest. Center hill dale hollow and Cordell Hull are also in the area
  6. Well that all depends on which part of Tennessee you live in
  7. There is one thing you can do............ “Lieutenant Dan!!!! Ice cream!!!”
  8. Largemouth 100%. Come on guys that looks nothing like any other species
  9. If they worried about wind direction in Florida they would starve to death haha. The reason the saying exists is because for a good portion of the county, maybe besides the Atlantic coast, the wind comes from the east about .001% of the time. It’s a convenient excuse but could easily be accurate. The one day out of 500 that the wind blows backwards, the fish may take the day off
  10. Nice bass. Looks like that bait works pretty well with the split ring
  11. I don't fish tournaments but I enjoy watching bass and flw. I can't believe that no one ever mentions or pushes for a combination of the two, catch weigh and release best 5 fish. Professionals being rewarded for catching one lb bass makes me change the channel every single time. Might as well watch pro ball players do layup drills
  12. The big uns can bust anything. At least she bit it! Haha
  13. These are the only “shoals” we have . But there’s hundreds of miles of them, all far out of bass boat range
  14. @Bluebasser86, I like to bite those back!
  15. Got in a little dock fishing. I might have caught the saMe catfish twice. And one of those pesky little green fish
  16. @Gundog, at long last! Nice smallmouth
  17. HAhahhaha. I grew up in a house like that. Momma always made us rake up all the acorns before she mowed the grass (aka dry dirt in the shade)
  18. I can’t get into it either. They are fishing my home river and I haven’t watched any of it, where I watched every second I could of the classic. I check what people are saying on here and that’s about it
  19. There a few hundred people skunked on that lake every day. Methinks pros are good. It helps they can weigh 1 pounders though, any other tournament they would have to be 15 inches there . 20 1 pounders would get you tied for dead last with 0.0 lbs
  20. I would try dragging something relatively small slowly on the bottom
  21. I don’t think I could get 40 lb braid to sink 40 ft with an anchor on the end! Haha
  22. Thanks! The cool part is they don’t even stock them where I caught it! But they do in the lake above and below so they have been there for years
