Robert Kraft arrested in solicitation/trafficking sting? I wonder if they will let him keep the team
  5. I must be hungry because it looks like a slice of lasagna
  6. Prayers sent. My buddy’s daughter grew up with that and she’s a go-getter and always has been. Judging by her personality and earlier posts above, it will make your son stronger and even more awesome.
  7. That one gets me all the time...... Especially Monday through Friday
  8. They breed with the local population. The F1 hybrid that result (first generation) are the big ones that people catch. They are big like FLA bass but not bothered by cold . They DNA sampled a bunch of big bass from several weigh ins over a period over years thinking they would find all the big ones were Florida strain. 0 percent of them were pure Florida, 100 percent were F1 hybrids. I think they only sampled fish over 8 lbs. I have experienced first hand fishing in FLA in the cold. They won't bite
  9. I can see why! With today's high quality photos and my broke hind end, I'd probably go the @A-Jay route of framing a photo. I would love to catch a monster and get a high quality mount but I'm guessing a guy that does that kind of high quality work comes with a price higher than what I've got haha
  10. I use an 18.5 ft center console duracraft. I don't think you could call it a bay boat because it's camo but it's pretty close . Not sure width but my buddies 6 ft tall sleep on the back deck sometimes . Center console does get in the way but the front deck is huge. The one thing I can't do is drive the main channel when there are big waves. Well I can do it but I trim up and go slow, bringing up the nose as much as possible. And by slow I mean like 8-12 mph
  11. One does not simply forget those replica photos...... Hahahaha
  12. @TOXIC, I know exactly how you feel. Most of my guiding is done fly fishing for huge trout on a tiny stream , usually 2-4 hours. You can easily see the fish but they are beyond smart. The clients always say "I can see them right there, why don't you cast out there and catch one? " I always refuse until we are done so I don't waste any bites . Sometimes I will hook one to show them how slow they are setting the hook but sometimes those fish have already shut it down and they won't bite my casts either
  13. No one has stated the obvious answer to the original question. What is the main reason for not catching bass? Not holding your mouth right. Duh.
  14. Hahahha. “He won’t get stinky!” Our parents probably would have thrown us back into the river if we denied their request that many times!
  15. They have dual purpose batteries for 80 bucks and a great return policy. Sometimes they have a crank battery for $69.99
  16. consumer warning: do not use inflatables for frog gigging........ second thought go for it, makes a great story
  17. What about a boat that walks across dry land with power poles????!
  18. That bottom picture kind of looks like an old bridge post or something manmade
  19. I think I’ve seen you on the CFF before also, those boys reported decent lipless bite this weekend. Getting muddier and faster by the minute though
  20. Ah we will be fine, weather men are full of drama
  21. They were awesome! I read them all!!
  22. Any tip would be fine, $20 is usually pretty standard unless you are a high roller hahaba. Beer whiskey and fishing stuff is also acceptable
  23. We just tend to get it all at once all winter long!
  24. Do you have an academy sports nearby?
