- Having a Large mouth Bass as pet is illegal?
In NH it is highly found upon to put fish caught in one body of water into another. The State might consider stocking some species if conditions apply- Owner ST-36, 35, & 41
I replaced a ton of trebles last yr with the 35's.....excellent front and back- New guy with a new pb!
Hell of a first post! ?- Boating etiquette
I have had more trouble with land owner/ locals than I ever had with with a fisherman, but that may be just the nature of my lake- When is it time to change lures or patterns
If your not catching fish, I am not sure how good the pattern is, that said I believe your gutt is the answer as it interprets thoughts, which are often accounts of past experiences. In that situation, I sometimes revert to junk fishing and throw things that don't see the water much. I change my experience to "education" and the expansion of my comfort zone. With this in mind, sometimes my busted patterns helps me become a better fisherman- Tell me about swim jigs
In NH we have the same law. I have converted all my lead weights, but am not there with jigs yet. While it is the law, authorities tell me that jigs were an unintended consequence as birds (loons) don't invest them.......I suspect it's just a matter of time- New PB by a lot
Awesome! And thanks for sharing......- Copoly Line for Jig & Texas Rig
Catt, on a few of my rig, I run braid to FC because I am lazy and a bit thrifty ( wife doesn’t agree). I only want to work with about 10-12 rods as I would call myself a recreational tournament guy. I love throwing braid and being able to change leaders to effect action or to add a bit of cushioning help. I also find myself throwing like I want to loose it, and often do. Worst case, I break off the leader, which I don’t mind doing. That said, I seldom respool braid. Truth be told, we seldom see bass over 5 lbs, so all my leaders serfice and give me a bit more abrasion resistance. That is where I am today and would be lying if I knew my preferences in a yr- Glass cranking question
I am in the minority here, but am a Braid to FC guy especially for glass. The only other consideration would be Sunline Defier or Defier Armilo for less stretch- Craws for Michigan Bass
Usually the same colors you throw a T Rig- Craws for Michigan Bass
Black/ Blue Green Pumpkin browns- TM replacement props
Gents, I have a 112v Ulterra and was looking to pick up a back up prop which only led to more questions. There is like 8 seedless prop, a couple power prop, all with few reviews. what do you guys run? thanks Al- Black & Blue vs. Junebug ?
Ini.....mini.....myni......mo ! that said, if I have a guest and just want to catch fish, a 4 inch BB wacky gets the call- Alberto knot
- Warm rain fronts ? What to expect
In the Spring, the days after warm rain, are usually accompanied by wind. Go back to your basic rules and follow them for pre-spawners- Vertical rod storage
Do what @slonezp suggested......I see several ways to make them work- Alberto knot
Got to disagree. If tied properly, the Uni /Uni is a stronger and more reliable knot than the Alberto. Don’t get me wrong, the Alberto is very good, and easy to tie. I suspect you are not wetting the Uni enough to keep it cool when sliding it down. ........just a note, a Uni to Uni is different than a doubled Uni. The doubled Uni is used to tie to terminal tackle......Tight lines- Vertical rod storage
After a few minutes, I am sure I can rid one up on the sport track, thanks- Post a photo a day!
- Vertical rod storage
Howdy Folks, Given I am running a 1775 impact, laying rods on the deck isn't an option. I am all set when I am by myself as there is plenty of room in back, but with a coangler I think I need to make something vertical. I seldom will have more than 6 rods out of the locker and I have seen option on youtube, but am wondering what you guys have done. Thanks Al- Wacky vs weightless senko
When I use a weightless Trig I use a heavier hook to keep it nose down, just not as much a a weight before the eye- Non boater ethics??
I am new to tournaments and would welcome input, especially if I am not on the fish. The fact that you mentioned he was on spots he went to 2 weeks prior tells me he isn't reading or adjusting to current conditions. There are ways to offer suggestions without making him feels worse than he probably does.- Braid question
I am more concerned about nicks in the guides fraying the braid, than the other way around- Smallmouth fluoro Leaders
