  1. I’ve shot my self twice with a nail gun. One was a smooth shank 16 and the other a ring shank 8. Pulled both out and went back to work after I calmed down. I got lucky and didn’t hit anything major either time and didn’t hurt until the adrenaline wore off 10 minutes afterwards. ?
  2. Dinner. Grilled chicken, onions, green pepper, jalapeño, cheese, a healthy splash of bbq sauce, toasted in the oven for 20 minutes.
  3. The Walker area is nice. You’re close to town and just head north 5-10 minutes and you’re in the country.
  4. Shouldn’t things on a bucket list be obtainable? ?
  5. I can’t say for certain if they were this past year, but it seems like they are almost every year.
  6. Property taxes where I live in mid Michigan aren’t bad. Like anywhere it depends on where you live. I’m in an area with tiny towns or villages. Some areas around here are $1500 a year for an average house. Move towards the bigger cities or have an above average house you’re naturally going to pay more. The snow isn’t that bad anymore. Usually the big snow storms for us are very few and far between. 8-10” dumpings are about as bad as they get nowadays.
  7. Rock piles Rock piles Rock piles
  8. That’s good! That’s the business I’m in is utility locating, so it always on my mind. Chances are pretty good the company I work for was at your house for at least one of the locates. You’d be amazed how many utilities get cut even though they’re marked out. I sometimes think contractors see the paint and flags and the think ‘dig here’! ?
  9. I liked the Flintstones, Dukes of Hazard, Three Stuges, and the Munsters. Do those count? Maybe I’ll come around. I used to listen to rap almost exclusively when I was young. Then I thought one day “am I going to listen to this when I’m in my 50’s-60’s?”? So I started listening to country, got sick of almost all of the mainstream country, and started listening to older country and bluegrass.
  10. It isn’t that big, but I get my fill of the downtown traffic throughout the week. The outskirts, I’m good with. It is a nice city though. Beer City USA!
  11. I’ll probably get slaughtered for this, maybe it’s my age (39) but I can’t watch old movies. It seems like the acting was horrible back then, maybe it’s over acting, maybe it’s the production, editing, I don’t know. For me, mid 80’s is as old as I’ll go and that’s pushing it. Alright everyone, I admitted it, let me have it! ?
  12. Grand Rapids, Michigan or Grand Rapids, Minn? That was just a lite dusting, right?
  13. Now the big question, did they cut your phone or cable line in the process of installing you sprinkler system?
  14. Visit my homeland (Ireland) Go to Australia and New Zealand See the northern lights retire before age 95 catch a 6lb smallmouth and fish lake Baccarat
  15. Hank just started his diet last week, because he has been well fed. That’s by design. Great Pyrenees are flock guard dogs. They guard flocks of sheep in the Pyrenees mountains so they’ve been bred to blend in with their flock. Hank didn’t pass the quality control test. He won’t go outside when it rains, he’s scared to death of thunder, he has horrible skin allergies to god knows what outside. He’s a factory reject like myself.
  16. Congrats to your family.
  17. Hank has a little bass in him. He relates to structure/cover too. ?
  18. Crawdad and they live in a crick
  19. I’ll give this one a bump @roadwarrior
  20. My fishing this year has been no existent. I’ve been working 57-60 a week, and moving into a new house and everything that comes with that has left me with little free time and ‘wishin I was fishin’.
  21. Get you helicopter pilots license and we’ll go into business together. $42/person for a 5 minute ride. I guess the line was extremely long. And I sure as he11 didn’t pay for it. ? He had fun so that’s all that matters.
  22. Up until age 19 I had never been stuck with a needle except for vaccinations which I didn’t remember. Then I had blood drawn and my good friends dad who was my Dr. Said “you’re white as a ghost”. The blood test came back along with a cancer diagnosis a few days later, then I became a pin cushion! ? Once released (I called it paroled) from a two week hospital stay I was sent home with shots I had to give myself to boost my immune system. I was a sissy about it, counting to three then stopping the needle as it barely poked my stomach. After a couple days I had bruises all over my stomach. It was until I spent another two weeks in hospital isolation because I was neutropenic did I finally buck up and start giving myself shots. Guess what? Needles don’t bother me anymore. ?
  23. It’s all good. I’m the opposite, I’m not one to try new things.
